  • How to cast my Moto G8 Power Lite screen on TV ?

    D

Answered By Damini Sai | 9 months ago

To cast your phone screen on your TV you need to have Chromecast.
Follow the steps to successfully cast your screen-

    Before you begin casting

    1. Connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network.
    2. The mobile device, tablet or computer you are using to cast must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
    3. You must be running the latest version of the Chromecast-enabled app. You can always double check that you are on the latest version by visiting the Google Play Store.

Cast from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV

    1. Make sure that the phone you are using to cast is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in.
    2. Open a Chromecast-enabled app.
    3. Tap the Cast button Inactive cast extension.

Note: The Cast button isn't located in the same place on all Chromecast-enabled apps.

    4. Tap the device you'd like to cast to.

    5. When you're connected, the Cast button will turn color, letting you know you're connected.
    6. Select the app like Youtube, Browser, Google Music etc and look for the Cast icon as shown in the image below.

You can now cast videos, movies and TV shows directly to your TV.
To stop casting, tap the Cast button and then Disconnect.
You can also watch this step-by-step guide to do the same

Maximum smartphones have an inbuilt call recording feature these days. You just need to tap on the cassette symbol to start the recording. Still, there are phones which do not have this feature inbuilt. For such phones, you can install the ACR app.

    1. : Download the ACR call recording app from the play store.

    2. : Then Follow the instructions from the app and allow all the access to the app as shown in the Image below

    3. : Ten Tap the three bar on the top left of the app.

    4. : There you will find the Enable option on the top.

    5. : Enable it and enjoy the app.

  • How to enable VOLTE on Moto G8 Power Lite ?

    A

Answered By Abhinav Nagpal | 9 months ago

You don't need to enable VoLTE. Insert the Jio (VoLTE enabled) in any slot. By default, VoLTE will be active. If it is not, you can change the network preferences from Network option in settings.

    1. Go to Settings > Call Settings (Sim and Network)
    2. Tap Cellular networks > Enable Voice over LTE On/ Off.

Alternatively, you can follow a much easier way:

    1. You can simply dial *#*#4636#*#*
    2. Choose Phone information.
    3. Click " Phone Information" and Toggle VOLTE Provisioned.
    4. Restart the phone and you are done.

  • How to insert sim card in Moto G8 Power Lite ?

    K

Answered By Krish Jhadav | 9 months ago

The Moto G8 Power Lite does not have a removable back cover. The non-removable back cover helps the manufacturer create a sleek design, lightweight and good looking product. It also helps with recovering a stolen phone, since the battery could not be removed. This is the reason the SIM slots are on the side these days. You can simply follow these steps to insert the SIM card:

    1. Switch off the Phone.
    2. Locate the SIM tray which is on either side of the phone.
    3. Open the sim tray using sim ejector tool.
    4. Carefully, place the SIM card in it.
    5. Close the tray and you are done.

  • How to root Motorola One Macro ?

Answered By Ayushi Jaiteley | 1 years ago

To root your phone manually, you need to turn on USB Debugging.

    1. Go to Setting, Find kernel version in About.
    2. Tap it seven times, at which point you should see the message, "You are now a developer!" With that done, tap Settings, About Phone, Developer Options, and then tick USB debugging." Then tap OK to approve the setting change.
    3. Now turn it ON  in fastboot mode and unlock the bootloader.
    4. Install a recovery to help you with flashing.
    5. Flash a supporting custom ROM and gapps.

XDA Developers is a great site to help you with the process, support and Custom ROMs.
