  • How to hide or protect apps on Panasonic Eluga Z1 Pro ?

    S

Answered By Sakshi Jayaraman | 11 months ago

Many phones these days provide an inbuilt app locker. You can find this option as App Locker, generally under the Utilities option. You can simply open the option and select an app which you wish to lock. Now everytime you wish to open that app, you will have to enter the phone lock password or authenticate using fingerprint sensor, if your phone supports fingerprint.

Alternatively, if your phone does not support this feature, you can download the app named app locker from play store.
    You can find it here.

    Configuring it is easy.
    1. Download App Lock from the Google Play Store.
    2. You will be asked to set a pattern lock when you launch it for the first time.
    3. Then you need to configure an E-Mail ID for security and backup purposes.
    4. Under the Privacy tab, you can find a list of apps installed. You can select any one of them to lock.
    5. Now whenever you open the app you have locked using AppLock, you will be asked for a password.
    6. You can also unlock it using your fingerprint.

  • How to enable VOLTE on Panasonic Eluga Z1 Pro ?

    S

Answered By Sadaf Patel | 11 months ago

You don't need to enable VoLTE. Insert the Jio (VoLTE enabled) in any slot. By default, VoLTE will be active. If it is not, you can change the network preferences from Network option in settings.

    1. Go to Settings > Call Settings (Sim and Network)
    2. Tap Cellular networks > Enable Voice over LTE On/ Off.

Alternatively, you can follow a much easier way:

    1. You can simply dial *#*#4636#*#*
    2. Choose Phone information.
    3. Click " Phone Information" and Toggle VOLTE Provisioned.
    4. Restart the phone and you are done.

    1. Hide Photos and Videos on your phone

To hide photos and videos on your phone you will have to download the app named "Gallery Vault" and follow the steps below:

      1. : After downloading the app from the play store you need to configure your app.

      2. : Open the app and it will prompt a "Grant Access" screen. Tab on that and allow all the prompts as shown in the Image below

      3. : It will ask you to set your password and enter the email Id for recovery.

      4. : After completing all these processes you will see a app welcome screen. Read the instructions if you want and click Next.

      5. : On the main screen you will see a "+" button. Tap on that and Select the Images or Videos you want to hide.

And you will see a confirmation message on your screen as shown in the Image below.

        And you are done!

  • How to insert sim card in Panasonic Eluga Z1 Pro ?

    R

Answered By Rhea Suri | 11 months ago

The Panasonic Eluga Z1 Pro does not have a removable back cover. The non-removable back cover helps the manufacturer create a sleek design, lightweight and good looking product. It also helps with recovering a stolen phone, since the battery could not be removed. This is the reason the SIM slots are on the side these days. You can simply follow these steps to insert the SIM card:

    Switch off the Phone.
    1. Locate the SIM tray which is on either side of the phone.
    2. Open the sim tray using sim ejector tool.
    3. Carefully, place the SIM card in it.
    4. Close the tray and you are done.
