  • How to enable Google assistant in Samsung Galaxy J2?

    V

Answered By Vikas Jayaraman | 3 years ago

    1. : Make sure the Google Play Services on your devices is updated to version 10.2.98 or later. If not, either download the latest version from here, or wait for your device to update it automatically.

    2. : Change your device's language to English (US). To do so, navigate to Device Settings > Language & Input > Change it to English (US).

    3. : Now make sure your Google App is updated to the latest version. If not, just go to Google Play Store and update the Google App. My device was running version 6.13.25.21 at the time of writing this story.

    4. : Clear cache from your Google App data. This is will clear all the previous settings on your Google App. Also, make sure your Google App language is set to English (US)

    5. : Once done, just tap and hold the Home Button of your device and you will see a message pop from the bottom asking you get started with 'Google Assistant'. Enjoy!

  • How to cast Samsung Galaxy J3 screen on TV?

    A

Answered By Abhinav Nagpal | 3 years ago

To cast your phone screen on your TV you need to have Chromecast.
Follow the steps to successfully cast your screen-

    Before you begin casting

    1. Connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network.
    2. The mobile device, tablet or computer you are using to cast must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
    3. You must be running the latest version of the Chromecast-enabled app. You can always double check that you are on the latest version by visiting the Google Play Store.

Cast from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV

    1. Make sure that the phone you are using to cast is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in.
    2. Open a Chromecast-enabled app.
    3. Tap the Cast button Inactive cast extension.

Note: The Cast button isn't located in the same place on all Chromecast-enabled apps.

    4. Tap the device you'd like to cast to.

    5. When you're connected, the Cast button will turn color, letting you know you're connected.
    6. Select the app like Youtube, Browser, Google Music etc and look for the Cast icon as shown in the image below.

You can now cast videos, movies and TV shows directly to your TV.
To stop casting, tap the Cast button and then Disconnect.

  • Does Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) have IR blaster?

    S

Answered By Sachin Sen | 3 years ago
Unfortunately No, Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 does not have an IR blaster. I am a great fan of Samsung phones and in any of the Samsung phones IR blaster is not there and at this price point, I had no other option to buy a Redmi Note 4 which offers IR blaster on their phones. You can check the complete specs here: Galaxy J2 2016 Specs
