Both the phones have their pros and cons, I think you should go for Xiaomi Mi 5X.
Mi 5X has the following advantages over LG Q6: -

    1. Mi 5X has 4GB RAM while LG Q6 has 3GB RAM.
    2. Xiaomi Mi 5X has 3080mAh battery while LG Q6 has 3000mAh battery.
    3. The display of Mi 5X is Full HD while LG Q6 has an HD screen, would matter when viewing high-quality movies or playing HD games.
    4. The thickness of Xiaomi Mi 5X is 7.3mm while LG Q6 has 8.1mm thickness.
It is not like that it is a one sided game, LG Q6 has the following advantages -

    1. The weight of LG Q6 is 149 grams while Xiaomi Mi 5X has 165 grams weight.
    2. LG Q6 has 439ppi pixel density while Xiaomi Mi 5X has 401ppi pixel density.
Verdict - In my opinion, Xiaomi Mi 5X is a better phone in overall performance but if you need a phone with good front camera for taking selfies, you can go for LG Q6.
