Xiaomi Redmi 5 is a much better smartphone as compared to Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime as it offers a better OctaCore processor, a better storage capacity and a better overall performance and specs.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a 1.8 GHz OctaCore, Snapdragon 450 processor is much faster than that of 1.6 GHz  Exynos 7870 processor in Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime as discussed further in the benchmark scores of both the devices:-

Antutu Benchmark for Xiaomi Redmi 5 is 58,000 Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is 46,281 (Higher the better).

Geekbench (Single Core score) for Xiaomi Redmi 5 is 754 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is 712. (Higher the better).

Xiaomi Redmi 5  also comes with a better 32 GB Storage than 16 Gb storage capacity present in Samsung J7 Prime.

The only thing that keeps Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime in competition is its bigger screen and a better 1080*1920 px screen resolution and a better front camera performance as it offers an 8 MP front camera configuration.

    • It has around 100% more inbuilt memory than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. More memory allows you to store more songs, videos, photos and install more applications.
