I bought this directly from Dell store and have used it for about a month. Here are my impressions: Things I like: -Ample RAM -Display Quality -Light weight -Small(ish) charger -Decent CPU -Good looking Things I hate: -Flimsy body -Very loud fan -Keyboard is horrible to type on -4-5 hour battery life -Pathetic stylus -Touchpad rattles Another point to keep in mind is that Dell is supposedly shipping this with its newer keyboard technology and their are reports about faulty keys. My machine has a dead alt key and the right half of keyboard goes unresponsive from time to time.
My Requirement - A sleek, light weight, future proof laptop with no compromise on performance with a Windows based OS. DELL Inspiron 7348 delivers the above and more in an impressive 2 in 1 package. Have been using this laptop for over 3 months now. Bought directly from dell store in the initial launch days of this laptop. Pros :- 1) Its Sleek and Elegant with good Finish. Although the body is made of plastic yet it feels premium. Everybody loved it at the First glance. 2) Performance is good. I use this laptop for some coding and media playback usage. The laptop is fast dosen't lag on playing bluray videos as well. Pretty much handles everything you throw at It. PS - haven't tried gaming on this laptop since it dosen't have a external graphic card, so can't really comment on what all games it can support 3) Ofcourse the touch screen, which is mostly of use while browsing through Windows Interface or while playing videos. Not really useful all the times since it is not a capacitive one, so you need to press a lil and be a little precise with your touches. For Precision Guarantee - you have a stylus which is a great addition to the laptop and comes of great use while using it in tablet mode. 4) 360 degree rotatable hinges, Very useful while watching movies, using lappy in tablet mode. No problem is setting lappy in any degree setting. Support lappy well. 5) Backlit Keyboard 6) Decent Battery Backup. 7) StartUp time is real quick. Cons - 1) Heats Up too early (Not so Major). I was surprised to smell a foul burning smell initially with laptop geating heated up and Shut down automatically. didnt face the issue much though, works fine if not placed on mattress for long durations (since it somewhat covers up the exhaust vents ) 2) Slight lack of brightness at edges of the screen, Not too much noticeable though yet you can see it on a white background. 3) TouchPad & touchscreen could have been a lil better. 4) Speakers are Ok, not exciting. Most IMP - This laptop is famous for ghost touches issue on touchscreen (many reviews online), However I haven't observed any ghost touches on my inspiron as of now. Verdict - Its a great Windows based 2 in 1 with good specs, priced at decent money. Value for Money good utility 2 in 1.
hello I am using this lap for about a month I bought it on dell show room its price is 66000/ this is a very good lap speed is excellent ,,,this lap is not at all for gaming(for games like need for speed and high end games) we can play six guns and asphalt 8 smoothly ....we can use well for reading and writing and any painting etc.) look is also very good comparing to others lap) so I recommend this lap for best use not for games(I did not use this as tablet mode upto now)
I was confused in my buying a new laptop, being a student i had to have a hybrid, i am doing computer science and i know a a lot of software and hardware myself. i had got a xbox one so i was looking for slim 2 in 1, now in india 2 in 1 are over priced and they are neither premium nor at a good size, i was using macbook air before 2011 model and and just a few days ago it fell down so i decided to buy a new laptop, found this , very happy I have ran a few games and they work perfectly , i have played civ5 , dota2, batman arkham city, total war rome 2, skyrim and a few lego games and some not -so-known games and all ran perfectly, since its a integrated graphic card battery lasts really long when playing games compared to my friend's laptops, now i didn't run any new games since i will never play them on this(xbox one rocks btw) 8 gb ram is ample nowadays and the screen is gorgeous and since the resolution 1080p, i don't have to worry about my performance when i connect this to my tv at home, 13.3 inch hits the sweet spot, the stylus is great as well the only prob i found was it smudges a lot especially in front where the logo is. however i brought a vinyl so its okay, the hdd is fast since its hybrid, i got it for 45k since i sold my old mac and a old pc. best choice in 2 in 1 after this only yoga 3 14 is good but that is damn expensive compared to this. i got it with i5 cause its enough. i7 isnt really worth it but it would be for people who want to run heavy cpu tasks such as Photoshop , for me i5 is enough, my professor really liked the laptop as well and commended me for buying such a good laptop and he told i5 is more than enough for u. i am taking specialty in designing in computers next year so this laptop is for that. so thanks dell btw i purchased this from a retailer since it wasn't available in my city plus it was a expensive so no risks
