battery life is 5hr not 8hrs as mentioned 1.8ghz is not fast enough for gamming so not much use of 1gb graphic card the one which i got mrp was 33,950,(which after one month i discovered and i got in my wallet they even refused to refund in my bank and restricted it from redeeming it from ws retail) flipkart is charging more for "free" gifts.
Bought this Laptop on Holi Offer. Got an excellent deal of Rs. 31000, whereas the market price is around 36k. Totally worth the 31k price tag. I see that there are a lot of negative reviews about this laptop and many others, but just ignore them and trust only the seller "WS Retail" i.e Flipkart itself. People who are putting up bad reviews probably bought from any other seller. The Laptop came sealed with "Compuindia" stamp, which is the only authorised distributor in India [probably]. The laptop is well equipped to handle all office jobs and also can smoothly run games, although I have not tested the latest games yet, but Burnout and NFS:HP (2010) runs smoothly. Battery backup is well above average too and doesn't generate a lot of heat as of yet. A word of caution though: Linux tends to heat up the laptop, rather any laptop, as there is no such driver to automatically optimize performance. Windows 7 and above is recommended to get the maximum optimized performance.
laptop is best in this pricing.. but the McAfee anti-virus CD received is containing outdated version of anti-virus.. You will have to download the latest version.. otherwise the laptop is excellent in terms of sound quality, cooling system etc. Battery life is not so good.. overall 4 star for dell. Flipkart is excellent.. Received the product before the expected date that too with very good packing... overall 5 star for Flipkart!
I have purchased this laptop from Flipkart during the Holi offer and i got it @ 31000 which was a very good deal. I am using this laptop from almost 2 months and there is no single issue in this laptop. Pros: Performance is very good (Using Windows 7 Ultimate) LED is very bright and gives you a perfect picture quality Battery backup is awsum around 6 hours for normal usage Doesnt get heated up, so easy to use Very light weight Gaming performance is good, i have played some heavy PS2 games and some normal PC games and the gaming experience is as per expectation in this price range. So i will sugget to go for this, and asusual the shopping experience from Flipkart is always awsum, they provide you the best customer experience, If the product is purchased from WS Retail :-)
I bought this product during holi festival 2014. Pros: 1.Ultimate delivery of Flipkart(1 day before as scheduled...they helped me alot on customer care as I need it before because I would have to go out of station on the sceduled delivery date) 2.As far as product reviews concerned....all we know dell is the best in laptop market in india. 3.Suggest you to bought ubuntu....cos it will be cost efficient Even I installed windows 8 now.Its working awesome. 4.Packaging done by Flipkart is really apreciable. There is not even a single scratch or dust particle on laptop. Cons: I faced problem in space key of my keyboard. But I complained it to dell customer care and they changed it on the very second day of complaint.
