Verdict
Most touchscreen laptops in the markets are pricey and unimaginable to buy but this Dell laptop is priced very competitively is cheaper than some of the non-touchscreen counterparts with a similar configuration. Dell has in no way reduced the quality of the configuration, and the laptop has pretty decent storage capacity, processor speed and not to mention its amazing 8 hours battery backup time.
Windows 8 laptop with 3rd Gen Intel Processor

Design and Graphics

Dell Inspiron 15 3521 (3521545001BT) (Core i5 3rd Gen/4 GB/500 GB/Windows 8/1) has a 15.6-inch HD LED Capacitive touchscreen with with TrueLife having 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution in display. It comes in black colored body with standard keyboard and touchpad as input devices.

The AMD Radeon HD 7670M graphics processor on the machine has 1GB of graphics memory. Both the graphics and HD touchscreen display gives amazing visual experience.  

Processor and OS

The Inspiron laptop works on 64 bit Windows 8 operating system. It is rigged with a 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 3rd Gen 3337U processor with Intel HM76 Express chipset. The RAM memory is 4GB which is configurable to 8GB and its speed is 1.6GHz. 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The laptop is provided with 1MP webcam for decent web chat and also to take photos. The primary storage unit is 500GB SATA type hard disk drive (HDD) with 5400 RPM as HDD speed. Stereo speakers employing Waves MaxxAudio 4 and HD Audio Solution come mounted on the machine. The optical drive is Tray-load DVD RW drive serving the purpose of transferring disk data. 

Connectivity and Battery

For connecting with other devices the Inspiron 15 3521 features Ethernet, Wireless LAN, USB ports, Multi slot card and HDMI port. The 6 cell Li-ion battery offers up to a whopping 8 hours of laptop use.
