I bought the 8gb and 1TB variant of this laptop....mostly for gaming...nTried playing GTV V 1st..........n25-35 fps at very high ettings...n45-55 fps at high settings...nRest of the games (Farcry 4, Fifa 15, AC Rogue..etc..) run smoothly at high settings....nONLY Assassins Creed Unity lags even at low settings ........nRest every thing is okay with the laptop.,,
it's a decent product for 70K , can't ask for any thing more in this budget apart from backlit keyboard . Performance of this device is good but ya sometimes it gets hangs .Don't know why, maybe because I use windows server too on it . Touchpad and camera are the ones's who haven't impressed me , Touchpad is too wide and camera quality isn't that good . nnBattery performance is good because it uses 5th gen processor (if you want high performance and ain't really bother about battery back up then I recommend you to go with 4th gen i7 as it has 4 threads and 8 core in it as compared to 5th gen has only 2 cores and 4 threads ) .
I directly bought this laptop one month ago from dell store in hyderabad. Every things seems ok at first sight and the laptop works awesome. But all the problems arises with the user interface of several applications. either they look very small or scaled up to 200% which make them blurrier. Believe me, several software ui's dont work on this high resolution monitors and its a nightmare to use 3DS MAX or other other related softwares. I called up dell and they say u r software is not compatable with high res displays so thats not their problem and then i contacted autodesk they say i have to wait for other release of the 3ds max. I dont no when they are going to release their next version of software and now my super expensive laptop is of NO USE TO ME !!! nSO PLEASE BEWARE THAT HIGH RESOLUTION MONITORS SUPPORT ONLY FEW SOFTWARE USER INTERFACES.
i am using this lappie from last 11 july 2015n nfew things i like so much they aren1. 16 gb ram , 4 gb nividia graphic and 2 tb ram n2. 4 hour continue movie watching on full batteryn3. games run awesome n4 my all design software run wellnnfew bad thingsn1. i dont like the screen sizen2. it dosent look attractive n3. it hangs some time ,, mostly it take time to restartn4. sound is not loudn5 the antivirus comes wit it is third class ,doe not detect any virusn6 . microsoft gets hangs in this lappie, when i call to miscosoft they are not helping nnrest all is well ....
