I am writing this review after using this laptop for more than 2 months PROS:: # All its specifications # Stylish look # stunning video clarity (1080p videos) # Good battery backup # supports latest hd pc games @ low resolution even it has no graphics card. CONS:: # screen looks like LCD display. # no numeric pad - difficult to play pc games # poor coated surface (on the top) - easy dust formation, difficult to remove. # coated with plastic (inner) - around the display screen # no graphics card - has only 64MB dedicated video memory, but still supports hd pc games. why i chosen dell:: # most of my friends recommended # good service support all over India Why i chosen flipkart:: # brand new product # flipkart is providing 30 days replacement guarantee # on-time and safe delivery by flipkart. # acceptable price from flipkart Do u think i recommend this laptop to buy? # definitely yes, if u use it for everyday purpose. # definitely no, if u are a hardcore pc gamer.
Although this model is no longer available on the dell website.. but its a great option for anyone who needs to use a laptop for performing basic tasks such as surfing, office tasks etc. After experimenting a lot with laptops Dell is no doubt the winner, in terms of quality and service... Kudos to flipkart for their wonderful service.
when i called flipkart guys they told me everything which was correct and even 1 year warranty....but when i started using it the battery was problematic on calling Dell helpline they told me the warranty has expired days back..i was very sad and amazed to know this could happen in a brand like laptop...
I have been using this for around 4 months now. nSo let me break it down for you:nThe build is really cheap. It doesnt give you much confidence about its durability. But i guess that is the compromise one has to make when buying economically and the look also is less premium.nThe screen is anti glare which is a good thing since i do not have much difficulty in using it when in a bright lit room or near the window.nThe processor is fast enough and handles all the applications without much of a hassle though i would have liked the memory to be at least 4 gb (The average RAM consumption on my windows 7 is around 45%).nThe battery lasts long (much better than my HP pavilion) and easily lasts 4 hours on balanced usage.nnPerformance wise it matches the higher priced models and if you can compromise on the looks for economy then this is the one for you.
