Piece of Crap. No bill , Only 10 months Warranty, Screen has lot of scratches 1.Received this product today , called dell support and they told me that the product has only 10 months warranty. 2. Screen has lot of scratches which clearly indicates that product is not new. 3. The last and the worst part , received a bill without tin number , that's a complete piece of crap, Obviously that bill isn't valid. After that I raised a complaint to flipkart and they said that they will replace this product and they raised a complaint after that I received a call from seller stating that he will mail me the bill and will extend the warranty and then he mailed me the bill but when i asked about the scratches on the screen , he simply denied and said that nothing can be done with that , He asked me to laminate the screen. What the hell was that. Again he asked me to adjust with that. then again i called flipkart and informed them the same. Now waiting for their response.
About the laptop: The product is totally worth the price. I received it in mint condition and on time. As many applications I needed were not supported by Ubuntu and the Ubuntu Touchpad drivers were pathetic, I installed Windows 7 64 bit on it and other performance tools. The battery life was excellent- 9 hours watching movies (Power Saver mode) and 6 hours playing games(Balanced mode). And with respect to the comment below about electric shocks - there are none; the build is quite sturdy too. One thing people should understand is that 2GB of Video Graphics in budget laptops is technically a scam. A game running at Ultra Graphics in a 1366x768 display will almost never need more than 1GB of VRAM. The other 1GB is just a way to milk more money out of us. But, as Flipkart was charging the same amountfor this particular product as its 1 GB counterpart, I decided to go for it. About my experience with Flipkart: Shocking. I purchased this during the festive New Year's week as they were offering a 10% cash-back on HDFC cards at that time. After I received it, I realized that it only had a 10 month warranty. They coolly told me not to worry and that it was the website which was showing it incorrectly. After protesting, they "attempted" to get the warranty updated with DELL. One and a half months later, they told me it was not possible and I asked for a replacement instead of the Rs.1000 they were offering me as settlement. The replacement was delivered on time but still had the same 10 month warranty. About 3 weeks , 7 emails and 15 calls later they have initiated the refund procedure (I will receive the money a week later, hopefully). I now understood that they were basically trying to clear out the old stock without giving the 12 month warranty that they had advertised on the website. This was technically a case of fraud. I will still continue to purchase from Flipkart but I think twice before I do so.
hi deepak there is no heat up issue in this laptop, i bought it 30 days ago & belive me it is an amazing deal at this price. the gpu is great for gaming, & look is great. just confirm with the dealer about the minor electric shocks which are experianced while charging the laptop, which i have experianced.
Can any1 tell me that is there any heat up issue in this laptop . I just want to confirm that before buying this laptop.The laptop configuration is good and gpu is also good. Thanks in advance
I am really happy with the laptop's performance...powerful chipset, processor,graphics...i am really loving the build quality as well... the cold aluminium finish fells very solid...loving every bit of it...built for multitasking...awesome performer and good for games as well....Very very good xperience overall.
