I bought this directly from Dell as the hard disk size offered here on Flipkart is 500GB and the one on Dell had 1TB. I am very happy with this laptop. The only minor issues I face are...the keys are placed far inside, so it's a bit uncomfortable in the beginning if you are used to smaller laptops. This one is really big and wide! What I love the most is that the battery lasts for 8 hours of continuous work! (My work is on Google docs and image editing with 10-15 browser windows open at a time) This is due to the 4th Gen processor which has turbo boost which makes it consume less power when idle. I am happy with it. :-)

I bought this laptop a few days ago for my brother who is into his 1st year in college. When he finally received this item, it had 3 issues with it: 1. Screen started flickering on its own 2. Battery (that was showing as 100%) drained off in 15 Mins to )% 3. The laptop started re starting its own. When all this happened, I called Flipkart CS & registered my problem and I was assured that the issue would be resolved. I insisted for a ticket number but surprisinlgy was refused and assured in turn that someone from their team will reach out to me about this. I received no calls from Flkipkart or Dell for the next 2 days, when I decided to call Flipkart CS again and this time I was told that - "THIS IS AN ISSUE BETWWEN THE CUSTOMER & DELL AND THAT FLIPKART CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT". Upon reaching out to Dell CS, after Flipkart shunned the door was even more disappointing. I had made 3 trips to the Dell service center, 2 for repairing and 1 for replacement but the LAPTOP still has the same issues. Understandably, I am out of ideas, as the two supposed titans of Customer support Flipkart & Dell falter with their very own strong suit.

I am usually buy a laptop that gives a perfect balance of latest features while not being too price heavy, and this one hits the sweet spot. This can run games at a moderate frame rates, multitask like a pro , has a better than decent battery life and future proof considering touch will see a explosion coming years and lets me take advantages of this. The only feature missing in this otherwise great Laptop is backlight keyboard. Pros: -Great build, The Aluminium finish gives it a sturdy feel and a look of high quality. - Decent battery backup. Plus, Dell's battery management options are quite varied to handle may needs. - No heating issues, with full day usage. Although, i haven't yet tried playing heavy games. Cons: - I would say none, but backlit keyboard was must have. - Screen reflects a lot, which is a minor discomfort - The would liked the keys to have more depth, and dosen't give the confidence of the accutype lenovo keyboards. - Tight hinge, needs 2 hands at all times to open.But it means longer life. All in all, a future proof Value of money laptop.
