This is the first time when I am feeling that it was my wrong decision to buy such product from Flipkart. I am really very dissatisfied with Flipkart services this time. Flipkart shows that the product comes with 1 Year complete cover warranty but when the product arrived & I checked the warranty information on Flipkart I found it has only Parts only Warranty (POW). I had contacted Flipkart people over the mail but they people are not responding. Flipkart Services has gone worst. I will never recommend Flipkart to anyone. Please do not buy anything from Flipkart. Snapdeal & Amazon are outstanding & they provide great after sell services to their customer.
Just got this laptop today that I ordered 2 days ago. Less than 48 hours and as I write this the free wireless mouse has arrived too. My need was a small screen laptop with 3rd Gen Ci3/4GB. I had recently checked out the Lenovo S405 too which was sleek too (1.7 Kg) as opposed to this at 1.8Kg. Didn't really need the disk drive but there wasn't a laptop available at the config. But with the 10% cashback offered (along with a 2.5% cashback from pennyful.in) - hopefully both getting credited within 45 days this laptop would cost me about 28K. Good deal I would think. Performance wise this laptop does what I need it to do. Have been on it since the time it arrived (close to 6 hours now) setting up additional software including Kingsoft Office 2013/ Adobe/ Chrome etc.and it does well. Keyboard is responsive. Heating is minimal. Sound is fair (but I have external speakers if I really need loud sound). Haven't tested the battery time but based on my usage I think it would give me upward of 4 hours. What else does one need. I don't play games on the machine so want know about that but for regular use the machine is fantastic and with 3rd gen Ci3 hopefully live for 2-3 years without much ado. UPDATE 10th August 2013: I may have been quick to count my benefits as I have now discovered that Flipkart hasn't offered me the EMI and thus the cashback promised in the offer. They are flatly refusing that I used the said option. This inspite of the fact that there is a clearly a different tab for EMI payment selection through which I chose to make payments and which showed me the exact amounts to pay per month in 3/6/9 month EMIs ( I chose the 6 month EMI) Not sure how such a technical platform can make such a mistake with all the digital trail that the entire transaction can leave !! I'm writing this update an entire 72 hours plus after I raised the issue with Flipkart (they asked for 1-2 days to respond after initially flatly refusing by single line responses) I'm exploring my options as a consumer but this is a fair warning to people who purchase in good faith all the offers. Always keep a screenshot of your transaction process as it flows as it seems to me that Flipkart is using the 'my word against theirs' tack.
its simple enough, its fast enough, its light enough, its cheap enough. In 33k the product is well value for money. You will get a food processor and a nice lightweight laptop with reasonable size. I can watch movies with nice print and with great battery backup it all seems to be a happy buy. I am using it from last one year and it is nice. What people argue is you can add x amount and buy a i5 etc but the price difference doesn't make your buy a value for money. with this configuration this is one of the best products. I accidentally dropped this and lost the Hard Drive but with Dell's awesome 2 years of warranty including hardware I got it replaced FREE of cost. I would definitely recommend this.
