this is the best laptop in this range.i purchase this latop before 5 days, 1)perforemence:superb performence,never heat. marks 9/10. 2)display:in vostro series dell give us to eye protection disply so its dull than inspiron series but good stuning and hd display.its save our eyes. 8/10. 3)battery:good battery backup of this laptop,i watched two movies without charging. 9/10. 4)graphics:in this laptop nvidea geforce 820m graphic card with 2 gb memory,its awesomw and monster,we can play all highly performance games without any problem.. 9.5/10.
Man! got to say,the best laptop I could get at 42.5k. I BROUGHT THE LAPTOP FROM FLIPKART AND GOT IT DELIVERED IN 2 DAYS!! The performance is really awesome and the loop too is eye pleasing. Played games like COD : black ops 1 and 2 (high) battlefield 4( medium) Watch dogs(low in integrated and high-medium in nvidia 2gb 820M) without any lag what so ever I cant compare battery bakup as it is my first laptop... But here is what I could get: With normal use like downloading playing videos and music-lasted for 4.5-5 hours and playing games like COD MW3(maxed out) lasted for 2-2.5 hours with integrated graphics.. The body is fully plastic and the back side is not rock hard it can be pressed a little.. Running awesome with both win 7 and 8(64-bit)
First let me review the laptop. *The battery life is average as expected. The laptop gives me 2.5 hours on High Performance and it increases to around 4 in Battery Saver Mode. Will be more if i lower my brightness but i havent tried it. *The sound quality is again average as expected from a business laptop. There isnt much bass and because the speakers are located under the body what i hear is only a reflection and not the direct sound. Sound is very crisp though and the volume is sufficient for me to hear / listen in a room (its a 4 seater hostel room). *Matt finish screen is awesome and is sufficiently bright and crisp. *Build quality is not up to the mark(not what i was expecting) The top cover looks elegant but the plastic feel is cheap. *Keyboard unlike many reviewed is very usable and good. The feedback is also good. Being a developer i use it a lot and it doesn't disappoint me. *I later installed windows 7 and drivers were easy to get from dell website. so no problems in changing the OS. *The laptop isnt noisy at all. Most of the times u cant even hear it. Running at full load inside a very quite room. not even while starting. *Single Audio and Mic jack is a plus for me. as all my mobile audio attachment work out of the box easy for skype calls. *HD webcam isnt so HD though *the inbuilt MIC is god and does the job at normal sitting distance. *Its a quad code 1.7 GHZ processor. I have a 8 GB Model wich would be tough to upgrade later as there is only one RAM slot. what i get as a combo is super high and easy multi tasking. All my softwares and virtual machines work nicely without a hitch. * the track pad was tough to get used to because its a unipad but now after around 2 months of usage its quite easy. *There is only one LED on the laptop which is a negative as it dosent give any feedback while starting and anybody using it only relies on gut feeling on whether it has started or not. *i haven't tested the GPU performance yet. I will update the review as i test it. As of flipkart *I got a decent laptop bag with it which i wasnt expecting an it is not mentioned with the product. *The product was decently packed when i got it * the product was delivered in under 4 days at my house which is again a plus. * the product was delivered in awsm working condition and flipkart deserves a +1 for the condition and fast delivery.
Today i got this laptop,without any message from flipkart on my cell phone. This is my second laptop,but for the first time purchased online,i got only 3 things:laptop and charger,1 user manual in the parcel for 41400 INR. !!!!!NOO laptop bag,Driver's CD or any extra accessories!!! Now coming to laptop build quality, -Unattractive, from head to toe cheap quality plastic used,th DVD drive is worst,plus th first time i hd opened it nd there were blots of plastic on arm rest area,back side and scraches at the bottom near battery -Pain in typing with some keys:-down up arrow keys are such a deep pain to press,also the changing of home and end keys position -Bad audio quality -Performance i can't say now,but will keep updating it while using it. Again if u hv small budget and want to purchase big configuration like 2GB NVIDIA:820M,1TB,8GB RAM then this laptop cn mk u happy. one thing i would like to say to sellers when u r selling laptop with Linux OS,y u r adding Antivirus to tht laptop kit,it mk no sense. Overall, i would recommend to people who cn compromise on some of the features like audio nd build quality cn take this laptop.
Considering its price it is quintessential for every budget gamer and professional using high end software alike . The combination of 4th gen i5, 8gb graphics and 2gb graphics can handle any game ( some have to be played in low fps ) .
