Ancient Apocalypse is a documentary series that shows the devastation that nature caused to some of man's greatest creations. It follows journalist Graham Hancock as he travels to various archaelogical sites across the world in search for the truth. If you are an archaeology buff, this one might not excite you as much as you expect. The logic used in the series is not that consistent with what historians usually recommend, given it a controversial angle. That aside, it does generate curiosity among the common folk. The series takes you to sites across the world that have seen nature challenging man. But the fact that it does not delve too deep into the evidence and mainstream reporting could be a problem especially if you are someone who likes to see that. Hancock also seems to reject a lot of consensus on the various locations he visits, which again has been a point of criticism against the series.
