This camera really does pack a punch. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: • 18x optical zoom is an absolute bliss • the image quality is actually very good for an entry-level camera. I mean, if you're not looking for a professional quality dslr camera, you're really gonna like this. Its not just good for point and shoot images, but it also gives you a lot of control. It has a myriad of various preset modes for quick adaptation to various scenes and light conditions. Additionally it also has the manual and semi-manual modes that you're just gonna love • the video quality is sweet and never fails to reproduce the crisp real life in HD, and yes, it does have optical zoom in video mode. • the build quality is good and sturdy • the focus is good (and thanks for the super-macro mode fujifilm) • the electronic viewfinder is also just the thing to be included in it. Really helps in long distance shots and in bright surroundings Cons: • a real battery hogger, especially if you use the flash. Make sure you are using high power AA batteries with it and always keep an extra set with you. Having rechargeable AA batteries help And finally, thank you Flipkart for such an awesome service. Got my order in Guwahati, Assam in three days, including a sunday! Keep doing the good work. Thumbs up for you guys!
I used it for a day, and it sucks. My Nikon Coolpix 4 has better picture quality. what I am unsatisfied about? 1. Feels cheap. 2. No automatic lens cover. 3. No automatic flash. you have to press button even in sr-auto mode. 4. There is no view finder; the one you can see in photographs is cheap LCD trick. 5. Rather slow than functional. 6. not heavy but unnecessary bulk. 7. It's software sucks. 8. clicks nice photos in night with flash, but a. If light is dim, and you don't want to use flash, it craps. b. If light is dim, and you want to use flash, but object is rather away, it craps. 9. Nothing is really good about it. If it's your first camera, know this "there are better ones in the market" The whole BRIDGE thing is sham. What's worse, FlipKart won't replace it with some other genuine product. This is my second FujiFilm camera, and last one too. good riddance FujiFilm. Ohter better choices are : Canon PowerShot SX150 IS Point & Shoot and Nikon Coolpix S6200 Point & Shoot
