Go for the brand

I almost gone through all reviews on net and watched almost all the videos related to gionee elife e6, and finally I placed the order and I got it for Rs 21300. I'm too much satisfied with reviews on net. But after playing with this device I thought, I should contribute my findings on this device. I have been using this device for the last 3 weeks. The device is well packed. On the pack, we will get well designed and high quality flip cover, micro usb cable, charger, 2 screen gurards.nn1. Design (7/10)nnIt is the one of the best part of device. Gionee admits that they inspired from the iphone design. Mine is a white color one. It looks premium, glossy finish and high quality pastic is used.nn2. Display (10/10)nnIt offers full HD display. I'm able to play full HD videos, fonts are sharp. I compared this device with Galaxy S4 and iphone ,i couldn't find any differences. nn3. Camera (6/10)nnIt offers 13mp camera, but its not upto the mark. Details capturing on this device is very less compared to S4. It records FHD videos as well, quality of the video is not bad.nn4. Hardware (6/10)nnI should say competitive hardware combination on this price range. Its coming up with 1.5ghz mediatek quad core processor + 2GB ram + 32GB internal memory. Theres no SD card slot, but I don't think its a negative part of this device , 32GB internal memory is enough. The gaming performance is very very disappointing. I tried only FIFA, its really slow and non-responsive on this device. nn5. Sound (7/10)nnOn serveral reviews I read sound is disappointing. Yes it is low but not much low. Phone quality is good.nn6. OS (5/10)nnGionee elife e6 coming up with Amigo UI, its build on top of Android 4.1. They have customized everything. There is no lag, they applied animations when switching between applications.nnProps of Amigo UIn1. We can set the permissions for each application.n2. It offers call recording on the call screen.n3. We can change the theme.nnCons of Amigo UIn1. There is no application screen concept. All the applications are placed on the home screen. We can't manage home screen count it automatically increments/decrements based on the number of apps.n2. Doesn't support widgets. Really a disappointing thing and biggest drawback.n3. Theres a bug on lock screen. It never updates the date displaying on the lock screen till the first use on the day.n4. Caller image displaying on the call screen is very low in size. Its approx around 15pixels x 15pixels.n5. It offers gesture support, but its not effecient and hard to use. I never experinced its automatic dialling and answering.n6. Design of the text messaging, contacts and phone dialer disappointing. Also it doesn't offers much features.n7. On accounts add options, facebook option is not working.n8. Theres no swipe to call and text from contacts.n9. Contacts filtering is not available (Show only SIM contacts, phone contacts & google contacts)n10. If taps 3 times very frequently, the screen enlarges and difficult to use. And revert back on the another 3 taps. Its really annoying, not able to play shooting games.nn7. Battery (6/10)nnFor moderate use, an average of 36 - 48 hours.nnI should say this device not much worth for 21K. Go for the brand(Samsung,Sony,HTC,Nokia) if you are planing to buy phone above 18K. Go for this if its price down to 15-17K.

This is a great phone in this price range. Looks very premium. Even the 30k+ phones will not have such a premium look. Great design, looks stunningly sleek on your hands. Very light weight.nDisplay is the best. Full HD looks awesome.nCamera is very snappy, real fast. If you don't take your finger out quickly, you get multiple photos within seconds.nnAll in all this looks more contemporary than most of the high end devices(?)

good mobie but way too costly to invest on a new brand the guy who said that he using the phone since 10 days when the phone is launched only on 3rd of october ...liars review.....i would buy this mobile only if it is ppriced at around 15-16 invest on a chinese new brand company that too around 22k is too risky

I don't own this phone! I've used it for quite sometime though. Here are my thoughts about this phone.

For the impatient there's just one word on this phone. Go for it. It's totally awesome. nNo other manufacturer offers this kind of device in this price range. nn1. Looks => It looks premium. Looks like 35k+ phone. Even a phone that comes in 35k range wouldn't give you this premium feeling. You know the brand I'm talking about :Pnn2. Display => I'd say it's awesome. "PPI says it all". It has got 441ppi. It's sharp, crisp and clear, You'd enjoy looking at it all day. nn3. Camera => Though I haven't tested camera capability. I'd say pretty decent camera. Few clicks that I took were evident to say it's a nice camera.nn4. Hardware => It's a nice combination of processor and ram. It gets your day to day activities done without any hassles. I don't want to get into technical specification. It has got enough power to handle either your personal or professional needs.nn5. Battery => I'd say Decent performer. Would last for a day on a normal usage. nnWell that's all the features I'd look for a phone when buying. nnIt's really worth buying. Gives you that premium feeling when holding it. No cheap materials are used to build the body. A great performer & it's Android powered what more would you ask for ? nnOne thing I personally dislike about this phone is it's screen size. I'd say 4.3-4.5 inch is the ideal size for any phone. Well that's just my opinion. For you folks it could be best. FHD is really nice. I'd bet you'd love it.

Good Phone with Nice Price Tag

Pros:n1. HD Display Looks awesome and crispn2. Unbelievable Camera with BSI Produces Original Colors and Low Light Photography was awesome n3. 32 GB Internal Memory Looks enough to store all your apps and Files.n4. 1.5 Ghz Quadcore and 2gb ram helps that to work without a lag even When I Played Asphalt 8.n5. Light Weighted Mobile 128gm with Unibody Designn6. OGS Technology looks awesome.nnCons:n1. Speakers are not loud enough n2. No External SD - Doesn't MatternnWhen Compared to Overpriced mobiles like Samsung, LG and HTC, I will recommend this for the people who wants to buy a quality mobile with powerful performance and low cost.nJust go for it.
