The Gionee P5 Mini is basically for the ones who prefer small screen sized mobile rather than big sized phablets. However, a little better battery would have made it a better deal since nowadays people love installing lot of apps which drains down the battery fast.
Display and Configuration
The Gionee P5 Mini exhibits a 4.5-inch IPS display with a native resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor aided along with 1GB RAM and Mali-400 graphics engine for driving the system in an efficient manner. The dual SIM handset runs on Android v5.0 (Lollipop) and is available in white, black and white colour.
Camera and Storage
In order to click pictures, there is a 5MP main camera (inclusive of LED flash, auto flash and digital zoom feature) which can capture images up to 2,592 x 1,944 pixels resolution. For selfie admirers, there is a 2MP front snapper which captures decent pictures but clicking images in more light would render much better results. On the storage ground, the device has an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
Battery and Connectivity
Acting as an energy provider, is an 1,850mAh Li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours. On the connectivity front, the device offers wide range of options such as 4G (doesn't support Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and USB.
