What strikes one first is the solid Gionee build. The phone is exactly as described in the image. It's got a metallic gunmetal grey back. Dual Sim and Micro SD slots. The display is a mammoth 2.8 inch and crisp for its price. Ringtone sound is Smooth and loud unlike the trashy din that a micromax would make. It has call blacklist, sms blacklist, refined software much better than the similar chinese OS running in this range of java phones. The default password is 1122. The user manual is superb. The Packing, Headphones, battery, Charger all smell of good quality.nTHIS IS A GREAT PHONE TO GIFT YOUR ELDERS. nwhy cause it has this widget VIP call function with which one can store upto 6 numbers on the display for ready calling. Moreover one can increase the font size to super huge. nJava games are fantastic, unbelievably it has asphalt 6. Wow.nCall clarity, net, google, facebook all come easy with this.nOnly thing missing is a LED TORCH.

Look is nice. Too Heavy. Battery backup is not good. we can use it for oneday only. Features available in this mobile is not good we can get the similar facilities in Chinese Mobiles Rs500.00. No internal memory. Without memory card we cant do any with this mobile. Speaker is too bad. According to me its a waste of money.

The buttons though look small in the visuals are actually quite user friendly. Finger dont slip off the keys even during fast typing.nnSo far the battery has lasted up to 3 days on regular use on a single charge.nnVoice quality is clear.nnGood bargain at this price.

Actually i bought this mobile in local store in Vellore. Among many basic models this one is best and cheap. Unbeatable. Performance wise it is so good. Very rich in look wise. nnPros:nn- Very large screen (It helps to browse internet, watch movies, photo gallery)n- Good battery for basic model (No need to charge your phone frequently - u can Forget to charge for three days)n- Enough speaker volume for music lovers n- Software is so user friendly. Anyone can use this. (More widgets also)n- IMPORTANT - Rich paneln- There is no lagging (like symbian)n- Inbuilt softwares like opera, facebook, games, Document viewer etc.n- U can get pouch in a box.n- It support (MP4, MP3, 3gp, WAV, AVI)n- GPRS, MMSnnCons:nn- Very bad camera qualityn- More weight :-(n- Low Resolution (QVGA, 320 x 240 Pixels) - But for this price it is more enough. n- For connectivity u have only Bluetooth option. There is no wifi.
