Worst Ever Customer Service Experience !nnHitachi Service call center and Installation engineers are:n-Cheatersn-Liarsn-Non competentnnIt seems its Hitachi AC culture as it is visible in everyone I have interacted.nnMy opining would be "No - Never " to Hitach ACs.nnFlipkart delivered the AC on time.
Easily one of the better options amongst 1 ton inverter acs in this price range. I got it for my study.nYou should but this ac if :nn-Your room size is about 12*12 ft. but, trust me it will still cool appropriately even if the room is slightly larger, it'll just take a few extra minutes. So chill.nn-R4IOA refrigerant (What the hell is this?)nIt uses EPA(Environment Protection Agency)-recognized, chlorine-free R410A refrigerant.Thus, it’s ozone responsible. ( So, its goooood)nnR41OA is better suited for use in higher-efficiency equipment because you get a higher heat transfer rate than with R22(Used in normal acs). R41OA allows manufacturers to design and make units that are more efficient than ever. Choosing an air conditioner or heat pump with R41OA not only makes sense environmentally — it may also reward you with energy cost savings.nn-The decibel level is also low at 28db, which is like whispers.nn-Its Energy Efficiency Ratio is 3.54 ( which is equivalent to 5 stars,but inverter acs are not rated in India yet.)nn-It has Air Flow of 424 CFM (Cubic feet per metre), which is good.nnSo, basically Inverter acs operate at high (btu) intensity quickly to bring the room temperature down, then operate at lower(btu) intensity to maintain the room temperature you prefer. (consuming less electricity)nUnlike a traditional ac, where the compressor turns on and off causing variations in temperature.n nex. if a normal ac would consume 3 units in one hour, an inverter ac would take one and a half hour .nnAnd now for the overheads.They are minimal. If anything extra is required while installation, ex. wiring ,etc get it from the market ,if possible, if you like money, because Hitachi likes it more,specially yours.nn-The copper wire provided is 4m which is sufficient in most cases.nn-You will need to buy a stand for the outdoor unit.Market price about Rs400. not from Hitachi , they will ask 700 or 900 depending on the type, whether for the door or floor.nn- Drain pipe or extra wiring(if required) , about 4m ,again get from the market. Its about Rs 50 approx.per metre for the pipe and Rs 80 approx. per metre for the wire.nn-Get the stabilizer online only, VGuard or any other with a range of 170V to 270V. Online price would be around Rs.1400 and are dear friends at Hitachi sell the same for Rs.2700. So nice of them.nn-Installation charges are about Rs. 2000. I got it for free, as i have powerful friends.nNo, i got it during a period offering free installation.nnSo, including all of this you will pay about Rs 4000, besides the price of the ac.nnSImply.Get it.
