Good light weightNice Designeasy to carry Laptop

I got it from a local store 2000 rs less then the Flipkart price. I have been using for few weeks now and its really a good laptop. just keep a few things in mind while buying this laptop 1. It has not external graphics card. 2. RAM is expandable to max 8GB (Not cool for gamers). 3. Screen is not Full HD :(. But since I have a gaming system this laptop is well and good for me as it gives me a good battery life(without GC). 2 bad things about the laptop is a hissing sound when I switch on the WIFI (Though its really less but don't like it) Second the display is not full HD.

One flaw keeps it not recommendable

I bought his laptop from the HP Store in Chennai. The PROS regarding this laptop are good looks and low weight, non-glossy screen, Good specifications and good options for connectivity. For a normal user like me, and who carries laptop all around and prefers a laptop over a tablet, the weight matters a lot. Also, the battery backup. But, the laptop couldn't give that punch in the battery backup. At 1.7kg and 21.33mm thick, it isn't competing with the MacBook Air for the design perspective. But seriously lacks in battery performance and battery quality. Bought this on August 2015, and now in December it shows me a screen stating "The system detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery needs to be replaced. Primary battery . Lucky that being a non removable internal battery this is covered under 1 year warranty. Else I would have ended up paying Rs. 8000/- for the genuine HP make as per the service center. And please be noted that the service center executives conveyed that this is a consistent issue for this model. So this flaw of battery capacity and life of the battery is a huge concern. So we can't recommend this one to any friends/family Ratings (Out of 5) ------------------------------ Design: 4 Display: 3.5 Performance: 3 Software: 3 Battery life: 3 Value for Money: 3.5 Overall: 3.5 Regards, Rohit R Keyan

Overall ok

Bought it from hp store, viman nagar pune. Used for 1 month. Everyday use : word, excel, movies, etc. No hard core gaming. pros: 1. portability is very good, i wouldn't say excellent as i have hp pavillion dm1-1030TU which is light weight than this but the processor is equivalent to dual core 2. is very fast. Starts up within 10 secs 3. battery back up is very very good... Presently. Used it just for a month Cons: 1. Screen lacks picture depth 2. The sound is not good quality. I bought it seeing the beats logo but it really doesn't make much of a difference, esp at this volume. The volume is very low even at max and if you are in a place that has the slightest noise around, one cant hear anything. 3. Mouse pad is not sensitive, plus it just runs and gets clicked in random places. I tried working with sensitivity options but didn't help. 4. Gets slightly heated up even at normal use. 5. doesn't have back lit keyboard which i was looking for Overall, ok. But you can get better models than this at same price in other brands. Try with lenovo flex worth investing 1000 to 2000 rs more.

Battery sucks after one year of use!

I bought from HP world. This laptop is great in all other perspectives except for the battery which is inbuilt. And also, as soon as the warranty ran out, so did battery. Till yesterday I had a good back up of 5 hours and today I get a message "Battery plugged in and not charging" They say I will have to get battery replaced . Is not covered under extended warranty which I bought at that time. Also, seems they have programmed this laptop battery to run out just after the warranty runs out. I know I am sounding weird, but that is what I thing at this time!
