VERY SATIESFIED

UPDATE:nI upgraded to Windows 10 without any hassle and I still am facing no problems at all.nA lot of people asking if you can upgrade RAM and internal storage, well the RAM and the 32GB eMMC is soldered to the Motherboard.nFor the RAM you have go to the service center and change your 2GB to 4/6GB RAM which would be soldered again.nFor your storage, I'd suggest add a 64/128 GB Micro SD card. This laptop has a direct SD card slot.nnnI have been using this laptop for a month now. I had no issues at all even with these config.nThis includes a HDMI slot, USB 3.0 with two USB 2.0, a headphone jack, a dedicated micro-SD slot and a 2GB 1333 MHz RAM (You can increase later as per your needs).nThe speakers are pretty loud and the in-built camera quality is really good too. The touch-pad is flawless and the display you get is Anti-glare, which a lot of laptop in this price range do not offer with Windows 8.1.nI would want to clear out to all that this is not an SSD, this is eMMC (embedded MMC) which is like a flash storage fixed on the motherboard. Marginal difference in terms of speed (better) compared to a regular HDD.nNow coming to my usage of this product - I do not run heavy applications such as Photoshop. I just use chrome browser (I open 10-15 tabs in a go), MS Office, Skype / PDF to Word converter and similar applications to these level of softwares.nI have just added a 32GB Micro-SD card to store a few TV series and still runs smooth.nYes, a lot of people did tell me that, if I had put more 2-3K more I would have got 15.6 inches with 500GB HDD however, I still chose this as I have a desktop with 1TB HDD and Full HD monitor and 2TB WD passport. No point of this additional 400+GB space. I have everything what I need already. My main motive was to carry a small but a good display laptop to work everyday.nChoose wisely what you need. Don't just buy stuff coz it offers more.nThey say - IF YOU BUY THINGS YOU DO NOT NEED, SOON YOU WILL HAVE TO SELL THINGS YOU NEED.” - WARREN BUFFET

SLEEKY STREAM Best and fast laptop for everyday

I am glad that I am the first to review. The product arrived earlier. This is the best for everyday use. The colour is very attractive and impressive. It doesnt have much crapware that we see in big budget laptops.I have used Sony vaio and HCL laptop. They are very slow to boot. This stream can be made faster by uninstalling some crap like HP tools, Realtek and McAfee which can slow the stream. nI plan to use it for core browsing and for my office work.Despite some limitation like 2GB RAM and 32 GB storage the laptop is a good buy that too at 20k. We can use the 64 GB SD Card and cloud storage to address the limitations. nTo sum up it is a amazing ,sleek, light weight and effective VFM laptop for everyday use.

Solid choice for Students nongamers

I am a computer engineering student. Chromebooks have the perfect hardware, except for ChromeOS and its internet dependence. The Stream solves it. I've been waiting for a long time for the Stream to be launched in India. If storage isn't a problem for you, this is perfect. nWhat I love about it:n1 Slim, lightweight.n2 Fast to boot and other operations because of eMMC storage.n3 Looks - Everyone who has seen the laptop asks about it.n4 Long battery life ( 7 hrs easy)n5 Decent processor - Can handle normal coding tasks, eclipse and all. n6 Silent - Because of no fans or spinning hard disks.nWhat I dont like:n1 eMMC storage is a hassle for booting Linux OSs.n2 Keyboard sucks. (Similar to others in this price range)n3 Touchpad is meh. nI'd get this over any laptop in the price range 20-50k. Only Ultrabooks can beat this for me. Note I'm not a gamer. I haven't even tried playing on this. Portability and battery is what I care about. I have an HDD for my media storage. Added a 64GB microSD for expansion.

Update to Windows 10, sucks !

I was really impressed with the product, price and the offers I received with the eligibility to update to Windows 10.nI was really waiting for the update to be downloaded, and then after i found out the issue. After doing download and update required, system memory left empty is around 7-8 gb and the update needs 10 GB of space, what the hell.nI tried the option to install with the external drive. When the instalation was about to complete it displayed error message insert the external drive which was already inserted. Anyways when i moved to re-install, i found downloaded data moved to external disk and system restarted downloading. Likewise after clearing all system dumps, still i am not able to update this system to Windows 10. nnLet me give some positive points, if you are not excited for Windows 10 and you can manage with Win8.1, it is the best laptop for you ! But I can't.

Excellent but overpriced

This would be an excellent netbook/laptop for what it provides ... IF it sold for about 14-15k, which is equal to its USD price of $230 (and that is what this is worth -- no HD screen, no touch, no HDD) -- Why should HP/Indian retailers cheat Indian customers?nnWill update once price comes down to correct point!
