I bought this laptop from Hp world 2 weeks back and here are my impressions of it so farnPros:n-Very sleek,lightweight and nice looking.n-Has USB 3.0,HD webcam,wifi,bluetooth(no dvd drive as its a sleekbook)n-Sound quality is really awesome(Altec lancing with dolby digital)n-Windows 8(Not many laptops are loaded with OS to cut cost,but this comes with preinstalled OS in this price range,so pretty cool as you can start working from the minute you purchase it)nnCons:n-Touchpad mouse buttons(right/left click) are pretty hard and uncomfortablen-Noisy fan(kicks off if you start watching video,download or connect external drive). This is really the biggest con of this otherwise nice machine.It's easily audible in a silent room and I find it quite distracting to use)nnOverall its a nice well designed machine,but the noisy fan takes away quite bit of charm from it.

this is my 5 day using this laptop look too good ultra slim & light weight perfect for carry battery average, camera good, performance till today awesome best point of this laptop is window 8 which is fantastic negative points still searching... note: only for daily user not for high graphics gaming, designing

just after 3 days of buying, numerous problems begin to show up. Touch pad insensitivity(almost stop working), fan roaring like generator, can't play high definition media, the brightness of the screen fluctuates on his own , that is very inconvenient. The most irksome part is that , this laptop is solely meant for grannies and grandpas...super duper slow , takes ages to open even a simple program, forget about the net surfing... I have to take it to the Hp service center the 4th day, and to my surprise i found that there were couple of people with the same problem, some even with more terrible problems with the same Hp 14-B012AU model . just a word of caution think twice before buying this system, though the looks may be very appealing.

Good but detailed technical features like MS Office 2010 software will be provided or not along-with Window 8 is not there. Compatibility to HP printer/scanner is not there. You cannot insert any CD.. no provision for that is another disadvantage. Although these are product problem but it should be mentioned in the product literature.

LAST YEAR I PURCHASE DIS LAPTOP, N believe me its my that biggest mistake dat i ever make to purchase such a crap laptop. Over this the hp service provide pathetic service.every time when ever i register the complain they never ever help me. i m facing n no of problem from the very first day i purchase this machine. screen light fluctuation, hang alot after 2 min use , even i cant use internet on this shity crap, it takes almost 5-10 min jus to open a normal mp3 file and your cant even think to play game on it. only best thing abt this laptop is its look size and weight rest it is just a useless plastic piece .
