Received the laptop on time as promised, this talks about the professionalism of Flipkart.On opening the package and starting the laptop found that the operating system is FreeDOS instead of Ubuntu, which was indicated on the portal. Intimated this to Flipkart customer support, to which I was promised resolution within 3 days. True to this commitment, received a call from the customer support and was intimated that HP has intimated then that this laptop comes only with FreeDOS. Flipkart offered to compensate with the price of getting Ubuntu installed on this laptop, which helped in getting this laptop configured with Ubuntu. This shows the Flipkart's commitment towards its customer. which I applaud. nnNow, about the product; this is a good value for money laptop and has been performing without any issues. On Ubuntu the performance is comparable with any high spec laptop. Connectivity using Wifi as well as LAN is seamless and I did not have to fight with the configuration at all. I would recommend this laptop for any user who is interested to use it with Ubuntu.
Guys be careful before buying this laptop because not all drivers are available for windows 7 64bit though the official HP website says so. Engineer from HP visited my house tried his best and finally gave up saying sorry we do not have all the drivers.
this laptop are all ok but flipkart giving wrong Specifications flipkart say 2.4 ghz dual core nbut its 1.99 ghz quad core cpu also graphics are not good but you can play 2012 2011 pc games like crysis farcry 2 crysis 2 also sound are good battery charge are not so good i have used 3 hrs in battery so good for low price low price budget
about Flipkart:nn Once upon a time Flipkart is giving service excellent to buyers. but now it is past.nthey are not resolved even drivers issue for this laptop. more over price 1500 reduced after completion of my order.nnReg.., Product :nn after so many comparisons I have placed this order, when I received the ordered product I am satisfied with build quality but there is no drivers CD in the cart. but ok I think to download the drivers from HP website.nn then installed OS (Win7) after that I search for drivers & found them in HP website, all the available drivers are downloaded and started installation process there is only installing Cam, Bios, Touch Pad, Audio Drivers only Chip set and Graphic drivers are not installing because HP is provided AMD processor drivers instead of Intel, then I started searching process for Intel chipset drivers after few hours I found and installed them too now my machine is fully loaded and working well. only confusion created by HP without proper drivers. otherwise this is good for budget peoples.nn Normally I will take 1day for installation process completion like OS, Drivers & Required Programs for me but this laptop taken 2days of my time. that's all....
