Great Laptop at this price

At Rs 30000, this is a great laptop, nnI was looking at a Dos i3 Laptop, for everyday office and Home use, Found this to be the best pick.nnI compared the price with offline vendors like Vijay Sales and Croma, they are charging Rs 1500-2000 more nnProsn1.This is a brand new model launched just 15 days ago by HPn2.It has a Huge 1 TB storage, which will ensure that I will not need to carry an external Hard drive for my collection of movies and TV Shown3.It uses the latest 1600 MHz Ram in 2x2 configuration, most laptops in this price range use 1333 MHz Ram, some of the older models being sold on flipkart may even be using 1067 MHz Ram, which is horrible.n4. All Drivers are available on HP websiten5. Power efficient i3 Processor, I get 6-7 Hrs backup while browsing and using MS Office.n6.Sound from in built speaker, while not too loud, is clear and good enough for movie binge in a mid size room

A Decent laptop

I bought this laptop for my father who mainly uses computer for typing and watching some DVD. As per my experience with the laptop for the last 3 days I would say it is a good machine wit good specifications with average looks.nnPros:n1. Fast- Have not experienced any lag as of now. Boots and shut downs within seconds.n2. Light weight when compared to other 15.6 laptopsn3. Looks slimn4. Pretty decent touch pad- Not ultra responsive but does the jobn5. Sound quality and loudness is pretty goodn6. Battery backup is good- gives 4-5 hours with normal usagen7. Good keypadn8. Strong hingesn9. Overall a strong and sturdy laptopnnCons:n1. Mat finish gives it a dull and boring lookn2. Pathetic Webcam- Not sure why they call it HD camnnHave not tried any gaming so cannot comment on that aspect.nnI would certainly recommend this to anybody who is looking for a budget Core i3 laptop, who is not very keen in showing of their machine.

Must buy value for money

- Excellent entry level laptop.n- Quite cheap for the config - i3 Haswell, 1 TB HDD, 4 GB RAM.n- Works perfectly well with Win 8.1 and Ubuntu - BT, WiFi, Fn keys, Touchpad.n- Build quality is quite good - hinges are strong and doesn't wobbles.n- Slim and lightweight - still packs a DVD writer.n- Display is ok. Nothing remarkable. No issues though in working with it.n- Excellent battery life - easily gets you 4 hours.n- Good connectivity ports - LAN, USB 2/3, HDMI. No VGA port.n- Got a nice HP backpack free.nnI got it for web development purpose and it is serving me well. Dual booting into Win 8.1 and Ubuntu. I was confused between this model and Lenovo G50-80. But HP's build quality is much better. Good decision in the end.nnGo for it!
