Bought offline, from HP authorised store for 54K, about 50 days ago. HP AU series is successor to the HP AB series, which was no doubt an amazing mid range option for laptop buyers.nnHP AU is the upgrade over AB series, with DDR4 RAM (DDR3L RAM in AB series). Does DDR4 really matters? In real life, not much. But if you're a heavy user, you'll really see this machine with 4th Gen RAM stick (DDR4) really performs well. It has one 8GB RAM stick already installed and has the room for one more 8GB RAM stick, which you can upgrade to 16GB a couple of years later.nnThe battery is of a little more than 5000mAh and is non removable. Don't worry, you can press the power button for 5 seconds to shut it down, in hung up state. It gives a battery backup of more than 8 hours while watching 1080p movies on low brightness, and gives you around 3+ hours of backup while gaming. It gets fully charged in a little more than 1 and an half hour (when switched off).nnIt has 2GB of Nvidia 940MX as dedicated graphics card and 4GB of internal graphics card, that givea you a total of 6GB of graphics card. I've played a few games and performance was not bad. GTA V was lagging a lot at very high settings, but on normal setting, it was running smoothly, there was not much noticeable difference in graphics quality at normal and very high settings. Need For Speed Rivals is working pretty well on very high settings with 24fps at max, that game has some issue and don't go past 25fps on high end graphic cards (maybe i was using pirated game). Project Cars and GRID Autosport was working very well on highest settings with up to 30fps, even at 30fps you won't notice any lag. I would say, for a laptop at this price, it has a pretty good gaming performance, after all, it's a mid range gaming laptop. And yes, having a 4GB graphics card won't make performance better, it can just load more content on the memory, so i would say, don't go for 4GB GPU model and same some money for the laptop accessories.nnIt has one of the most beautiful designs, those net kind of metal hinges are actually make it look more beautiful and works better. Because it don't have removable battery, it is less wider than AB series. Viewing angle are not great. Screen quality is same as AB series. Keyboard is exactly the same as AB series but it's backlit feature is less brighter. But it does not make any difference, more light from the keyboard actually shows a reflection on the screen in dark, so the backlit light on the AU003's keyboard is perfect. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports with max transfer speed of 119MB/s-60MB/s (read/write - tested with WD My Passport Ultra 3.0 Harddrive). It comes with Windows 10 Home Single Language. It gives little less than 950GB usable (I'm little lazy to sum up the partitions). Trackpad is wider, feels better. B&O speakers sound more than that of AB series (maybe because of new driver). Webcam is the worst thing in this Laptop. It isn't as that good as in other laptops (compared with AB series and Asus ROG series).nnI am using this laptop for long now, and i really like this machine. I searched a lot for 1 month before buying this laptop, as i was going to purchase a laptop after 8 years, so i needed the value for money again, and i didn't make the wrong choice. I'm very much happy with it's looks and performance. I will say, go for this one, if you're looking for a laptop to use for next 3-5 Years. This will not disappoint you guys.
wow 1Rs discount on all laptops, too tempting!

This laptop supports wifi standard 802.11 ac, yet.. u are showing as 802.11 b/g/n.??nThere is no info provided about the number of memory slots, and the ddr4 8 gb ram.nThe BLUETOOTH VERSION IS 4.2... NOT 4.0.nU EVEN HAVEN'T MENTIONED THE SLOTS IN THE LAPTOP.nEven the backlit keyboard of this laptop isn't mentioned.nI found this info on hp website.nKINDLY DO PROVIDE CORRECT AND FULL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE LAPTOP AND DON'T MISLED THE CUSTOMERS???.
Laptop is very good in using, only drawback i found is it comes with non detachable battery and display resolution is as usual as 30-40k laptops. nGo for Full HD Laptops if you get in this range. n6th generation is awesome along with clear graphics.nDint find DDR4 much of use as i dint find much of a difference by using it.nIf thats okay for you can easily go for this laptop!
well this laptop is really very good nbut nI am facing a very rare blinking problem nand it has been over a month since I have contacted hp for this nbut they are just running me in circles and I am honestly very annoyednnif you don't have this problem then I can assure you this is the best laptop in this rangennabout gaming I want to remind most people this is a laptop so you can not expect to play games at high settings nlike most low end pcs can nnbut I have played arkam knight and gtav and even witcher 3 at low settings and for at laptop at this range it was amazingnnthe battery life is also really good nnbut the b&O sound crack sometimes when you put the volume to the highest levelnand only when you someone is talking that also happens very rarely nbut accept that there is no problem while watching movies or listening to songsnnwell I think I am the unlucky one to get a device with this problem but considering everything else it is a good buy nnand if you can buy the next model then you can get all the things that it lacks
