Awesome

Adding review on my first day of receiving the laptop. In addition to other reviews which have already mentioned much about this laptop. Boots in 3-4 seconds , no need of ssd. There's no display bleed , as what some review states it to be. Button backlight Led are sharp and , this is the most ;beautiful part of the laptop Before purchasing this laptop I don't knew the new internet explorer "edge" , This is super fast. No need of any additional browser. Sound and Display is high quality. Netflix and xbox comes installed. Game I am yet to play. But going by the other reviews , It would definitely perform as per expectation

Four Stars

Awsome laptop in this range. I got it for 61.5 k(exchange +cashback) . Did not find any problem except it has a minor black spot on bottom right hand side of the screen. Performance is superb. I can connect to office system within 2minutes. During Game play, does not hang at all.

Brilliant

Amazing Laptop! If you're looking for a gaming laptop on a tight budget, this is it. Currently this is the cheapest laptop you can get which offers such performance. The Pascal GTX 1050 offers more performance than costlier previous gen graphics card equipped laptops. If you can afford it, I'd recommend the 1050 Ti version. It offers around 25% more performance than the regular 1050 but it costs a bit more and you may not like having to spend more. But if Gaming is your sole purpose, I'd get the Ti one. Heat management is good, the right side of the laptop may get a bit warm under heavy load. The screen is awesome, though the colours on the one i got looked a bit red, it was easily fixed by a quick screen colour calibration and the colours are now spot on! Keyboard is very good, and gives a very tactile feel. Comfortable for typing and gaming. The backlight has only 2 modes : off and on(Red Colour) but the backlight on the keyboard gets the job done while looking cool nevertheless. Hinges feel sturdy enough and require two hands for opening. Not a lot of screen flex which is good! Sometimes it may wobble a teensy bit while typing but it's not too annoying and you probably won't notice it that much Covering it up, it's a solid laptop and a strong competitor with the others in this price range. If you're in need of a laptop for work and/or a decent gaming experience than other laptops under 1 lakh Rupees, The Omen is for you!

Best in the range

Really amazing product. One might think its a bit over priced, but its the best in its range. What really amazed me was the booting time of 15 seconds, which is like really good for an HDD. The build quality is on point, the sleek design adds a classy look to it. Its a gaming laptop, but doesn't look that monsterous like most of the gaming laptops do. In terms of gaming, it can run almost all games on ultra (except watchdogs 2, which, i think, is due to its poor optimization). It runs IDEs too very smoothly, programming is really smooth. After 6 months of usage- PROS: 1)Really fast HDD, incredibly fast bootup time. 2)Build quality. (the lid can be opened with one hand) 3)Decent gaming performance 4)Lightweight 5)Comes with a bag worth 1k 6) Decent battery life. i get 8 hours CONS: 1)only one brightness level for keyboard backlight. 2)webcam quality is low

Nice product

Got this on Pre order + exchange for 65k. (Actual MRP 79.9 K) Got a great HP odyssey gaming backpack worth 3.6k, and 6 other high end games free with it. Free one day delivery. Display is a good one, full HD with a rich visual experience. However, I did see a spot on the lower right corner of the screen which shows the back LED on a black background. But it isnt noticeable otherwise. Sound seems decent but not as good as Altec/Dolby. You can hear screeching sounds sometimes at full volume. You can hear the fan run when high-end games are running, but that is normal given that it packs a gtx 1050. Now, gaming performance is just wow. No lags whatsoever for many titles running at high settings. You could even tweek graphics card settings to extract more juice out of it. I play a FIFA a lot and it runs like a beauty on ultra settings on this laptop. Other extreme games like Witcher 3 might require turning down it to medium settings. I love the backlit color and the keys, but it doesn't have brightness controls, just on and off. Trackpad is okayish. Mind you, the CPU clock is actually 2.5GHz. 4GHz is the turbo frequency it reaches. Even though it isn't actually mentioned anywhere other than the Flipkart page. It was the best I could get in this budget, and I guess it will be the best laptop you can get under 95k in India till at least July to August, 2017. Since, gtx 1050>gtx 960>gtx 950. Other gtx series would be pricier. Gave it 4 because of the minor issues in the display and sound, even though they will be covered under warranty.
