First of All, I must Say Flipkart's Packing and Delivery Is Robust and Awesome Respectively. I ordered with IN-A-DAY delivery option and It was Delivered to me within 20 Hours.. Coming to The Laptop.... It is An Awesome Laptop to Buy If You know how to Install Windows or Any os on a Free DOS Laptop Pros: 1)Two Graphix Chips Intel HD 4000 (Integrated ) and NVidia Geforce 820M 1 GB DDR3(Dedicated) 2)Free Dos So you can Install Any OS Windows 7 or 8.1(My choice 7 because 8.1 has lots of issues with Games) 3)Premium keyboard With Lights in Buttons which looks Awesome 4)The Intel 3rd Gen i3 3110M is a Beast and handles tasks very easily 5)Nvidia Geforce Dedicated Graphics Makes Latest Games Run Smoothly and Flawlessly Cons: Are you kidding me?? The Pros are enough to Go for this Lappy... No cons at all... JUST GO FOR IT...!! NOTE: Install 64 bit OS as Drivers Are Available for 64 bit Win 7 and Win 8.1 only dont go for windows 8.1 if u r a Gamer because windows 8.1 has a lots of issues with games Go for Windows 7 with this laptop and IT will be PERFECT...!!!
@Colin Dsouza It has two USB 2.0+one USB3.0 So,I think its a great buy at this price. The best thing is that it has 800 series nVidia latest for notebooks!
Tech support ran diagnostics of battery . The problem was not resolved. After my 3rd or 4th sessions with tech support (without resolution, it was suggested that I run diagnostic test on the battery . This was all in the first week. The problem continued. My frustration level was at limit. i would like to returned this Laptop due to battery issue As i am getting only 1 hour 50 min battery back up only But as per FK description it is asking that its back up is 3 hour I am completely disappointment due to this bad issue with Battery
I bought this laptop from flipkart in 32k. Delivery was as usual fast. Everything was fine. Since it was free dos . I replaced the OS with Windows and looking to have Linux parallel to it. Initially installing the appropriate drivers seem to b a bit troublesome. Though windows comes with almost all the drivers Pre-loaded. No heating issues as said in few reviews (cant assure because i haven't done gaming yet). 1. 2.4 Ghz Dual core i3 that is better than other variants because the new architectures have compromised with the clock for increasing the battery life. And almost all the processors available in the i3 range have a DUAL CORE processor with a reduced clock. 2. Decent Gaming Hardware with dual GPU's (integrated + dedicated). Here the better part was the recently launched GPU 820M . Which inspite of being a entry level GPU has good configurations. 3. FREE DOS = NO WASTING MONEY ON OS ! CONS : No backpack given by flipkart inspite of the fact that it is made with every Laptop.
I have done a lot of research for a budget gaming laptop under 40k and this turned out to be the best. Almost all the laptops had a ulv processor which means to increase the battery life the CPU has to be underclocked, this decreases the performance to as much as 30% ! This laptop however has a i3 3110m clocked at 2.4 ghz so no underclocking and no compromise in performance. Coming onto graphics card amd 8670m is quite popular but this one has a nvidia 820m. Compared these two cards on various benchmarks websites and found that the 820m provides about 19% more performance than 8670m. So to sum it up this laptop has got the best specs out there in this price range wish it had windows 8 preloaded but that's not a big problem. Big thumbs up to this beast.
