First of all, Thanks to Flipkart, for delivering in less than 24 hrs.. Coming to the product : Pros- 1. i5 4200M processor (4th gen) - needs a little bit more energy than i5 4200U, but a faster processor @ 2.5 GHz upto 3.1 GHz...for me processing matters, also, it has Intel HD Graphics 4600. 2. 4 GB DDR SDRAM @ 1600MHz...1 slot is empty...flipkart should make the correction. 3. If u r a casual gamer, HP has included 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE 820M. Decent card, not for heavy gamers. tried NFS rivals..WORKS GREAT..with adapter obviously. 4. Synaptics pointing device...just awesome 5. Sparkling Looks finish..i.e. good looks 6. No heating issue, though it was a little more during game (it's normal) 7. No fan sounds..a little bit during heavy processing 8. 2 year extended warranty @ 2499 worth Rs. 5999 from HP (Till 31st may only) Cons: 1. Free DOS..but no issue with me as I installed Windows 8.1 64 Bit. 2. All drivers are available on HP website, except Bluetooth driver & Airplane Mode Driver, which I was able to get from HP Customer Care. 3. 4 cell battery - I used it for 3.5 hrs without charging..which included 1 hour of watching videos over WIFI & remaining time installing softwares. 4. Speakers got an average sound as per my needs. So overall a great laptop as per the price..and one should consider his priorities before buying..I needed a faster laptop among HP brand at a budget of 40k, this was the latest one on the click.
Donot Belive their offer because yesterday we seen 10% cashback offer for this laptop via creditcard debitcard netbanking..... i put order 20th june 2014 10 pm.. today(21 june 2014) they said no such offer in ourwebsite for this laptop..... So they easily cheating us with technology. HERE AFTER WHILE BUY BETTER TAKE SCREEN SHOT OR VIDEO RECORDING Mention by a flipkart CC. Now i CANCEL THIS ORDER >>>> WORST FACE OF FLIPKART and THEIR CC support.....
The specifications of this laptop is just awesome.. the only lag is the battery which is 4cell which is sufficient but still could have been better. other than that everything is good. it has the new gaming processor GT820 and 4200M i5 clocked at 2.5Ghz turbo upto 3.1 with intel 4600 graphics. I think only one Ram slot is used, as per HP's official site it sys 1x4GB so giving a flexibility of future Ram upgrade. waiting for a price drop as it is available at 38k on other site.
this is best & cheapest model with fast processor available in india, guys everyone has been buying 4200u for last 6 months there is no comparison b/w 4200u vs 4200m,it is 30% faster than 4200u at same price. positives: --fast processer with capabilitiy for turbo boost up to 3.0 GHz for dual core,3.1GHz for single core --cheap to its competitors lenovo g500 and g510 (they have comparable specs) --inbuilt intel 4600hd graphics (quite powerful) --decent nvidea 820m 2gb ddr3 --easy to replace or upgrade ram(only need to remove one screw) --vga and HDMI ports available negatives --plastic built(not as good as hp pavillion series) --battery must have been 6cell (as 4200m consumes 37w which is >>than 4200u 15w.) but still in 36k it was a deal worth giving a try
Snapdeal selling for around 37k...features are good, but price is high on flipkart...waiting for price-drop.
