Bought this laptop from Flipkart at the end of the previous month. No one offers an AMD A8(6th Gen) with 2 GB of HD8570M graphics and 1 TB HDD at this price.Plus it is coupled with 512 mb of R5 graphics card integrated with the AMD A8. The performance is really great, no lags at all. But there were a few problems in beginning. 1. You have to download the drivers for the laptop from the HP website as this doesn't come with the driver's CD. As this product has launched very recently in India there are no drivers available for this model in the Hp website. So the HP representative had solved the buyers problem by pasting as link in their forum section for the drivers of this model. But actually the webpage directs you to the drivers for another HP model, HP 15-g030au Notebook PC which is actually an Australian model having AMD A8 clocked at 2.4ghz(overclocked) and has a 500 GB HDD. There are also a few other differences between the product available on flipkart and the one I mentioned above. I would recommend you to download the drivers of the model HP-g002AX which is the same model as the g009AX but only comes preinstalled with Win 8.1. 2. The next problem I came across was with the Realtek Ethernet driver. Even after downloading an installing the driver from the HP website my laptop couldn't identify the network connection. Then I found out that the latest Realtek driver that was given in website in the Internet drivers section was only an update from the previous version and wouldn't work unless you downloaded the older version of the same driver from the website. 3. Finally I found out that the AMD catalyst driver that was given in the drivers section couldn't identify my graphics card fully. It recognized it as an HD8500 series but couldn't exactly select the model. Moreover it couldn't also recognize the inbuilt R5 graphics card.It would case the hardware to not function normally. This is because the driver is an outdated version and cann't recognize the new hardware(AMD R5) which was released globally only this January. So download the beta driver from the AMD website and install it. But be sure not to overclock your processor as your warranty would get void then. Do so only if you feel like after your warranty period is over. IMPORTANT: People who are buying this HP laptop or has bought it must know that this laptop comes with HP Redemption offers! This is not mentioned in the FIipkart webpage don't know y! This laptop comes with One year free ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) from HP and an offer to extend damage protection at a subsidized rate. This is a limited period offer and valid only for customers who bought this laptop between 1st June-31 August.Please register your laptop to avail ADP. Google for "HP get ADP". Moreover there is also an HP back to college offer with this laptop where you can avail a FREE one year McAfee Internet Security 2014 and 90 days HP video book offer and many more. Google "HP back to college offer" I hope my review will be helpful for my fellow mates who are planning to buy the product or had bought it already and didn't knew about the driver snags and the Redemption offers.

Ordered via flipkart. Got it in a day, comes with a backpack. Decent packing. Now, coming to the product itself, I've used it for a week and did a win7 x64 & win8.1 x64 dual boot, and this is what i feel. Excellent product; but after considerable trouble in getting everything installed. Mainly due to the confusion (and stupidity) of HP's driver systems... So here goes... > for some funny reason, the product is not listed on hp's website, but there's a similar product (15-g002ax) which is exactly same (minus windows 8p1), so you should be looking to that page for drivers. Available for only windows7 x64 & windows8.1 x64. > The pc comes with dos. I install my os's from bootable usb drives. But only 1 of the three usb ports work properly initially (the remaining start working after driver installation). This had given me a scare, as you realize this deep into the installation process. The right hand side one closer to you was the one working for me. (it took some time to figure this out as it initially recognizes the usb but later fails). > Also, you need to use diskpart to "clean" and then "create a primary partition" for the os installation to go through. Read up on how to do that. After installing the os's and drivers (downloaded from another comp as network won't work till drivers are installed)... > There are a few problems seen with Win7. --- As many people have written, the f12 button (wifi on/off) doesn't work initially. This is a known issue by HP. And guess what, they have a driver for that (called HP wireless button driver) LOL !!. BUT..., but... it is available only for Win8.1. So if you have Win7, unfortunately, the button won't work. For me, it was always ON, so i had no complaints. Not sure if it can also be always-OFF. ---The button works perfectly on Win8.1 (after driver installation). ---On win7, the other 2 usb ports continue to not work even after driver installation. All work fine on 8.1 --- The system is generally more snappier on win 8.1.. After all the struggle, ratings (on win8.1).. Processor (10/10) - blazing fast Design (9/10) - almost perfect Graphics (10/10) - note here that the CPU SoC comes with an internal GPU - Radeon R5, with 512mb dedicated graphics memory. The external GPU is of 2GB & there is a load sharing b/w the 2 depending on the intensity of the task. (external one called for only if reqd, saves energy). So, you might say that the total graphics memory is 2.5gb !! Display (9/10) - cant complain HDD (10/10) - 1TB Memory (7/10) - 7 because the available memory is only 3.5gb and 551mb is hardware reserved. This typically happens when the bios is not proper and reserves memory for hardware devices, due to addressing conflicts, etc.. Hopefully a bios update by hp would resolve this. Also, flipkart says that there's only one memory slot but task manager says that there's two. The laptop's still new for me to open and check!! Conclusion - If you have a windows8.1 licence, and if you're patient enough to properly install everything, it's a steal at 30k...
####GO AT THE BOTTOM FOR THE UPDATED REVIEW###nnHello guyzz.....nI m going directly on point... nIn begining I felt that I have made a big mistake ...just because of drivers... nThen I found that win 7 service pack 1 or higher n win 8 or 8.1 supports drivers....... nU can find its driver calling hp care.... nnN its very good lappy.....its has dual graphic processors!!!!!... n total grapic memory is 2.5 gb (512mb + 2gb) nnIts not get heated in compare to any other.... nBt u will experience this all after installing drivers... nGO FOR IT.....ITS WORTH BUYING....AWESOME!!!! nN awesome service of flipkart!!!nnn####UPDATED REVIEW####nn* after using for more than 1 year i felt that its the best best laptop even than some 40k laptops...nn* now u can find its driver on 'HP INDIA' site....(only on indian site..)nn* still no heating issue...(after installing drivers..)nn* till now windows 8.1 is the best os for it....i tried so manynn* I FELT that its definitely better than i3 (4th gen)nn* can easily run CAD softwares..(obviously it can run MOST of the games)nn* awesome hp servicenn WHAT MORE YOU GUYZZ WANT??? n FULLY WORTH BUYING...
