I liked this laptop a lot for it's build quality , stunning colors, amazing audio quality. I was looking around for a good offer. Finally ordered in Flipkart, i got my laptop after 4 days, which was a bad service from flipkart. Once I opened it and switched on my laptop, It was nice but i found 2 dust particles inside the touch layer and above the display and the fingerprint sensor not working, so called hp service centre, they sent an executive who showed up after plenty of calls on the 4th day after reporting, he dint know what to do with this issue and he tried to connect to hp back again to escalate. And so i raised a return request for which Flipkart called me back after 5 days after raising a return request. They replaced this product with a new product which had 1 cm of dead pixel so had to again raise a return. for which they responded back in 5 days after this return request. Finally, I got a laptop, which is good atleast when compared to the earlier ones. Pros: 1.8gb ssd,, Boots in jus ~1 min 2.build quality 3.beats audio 4. FHD display 5. good battery back up ~4hours cons: 1.viewing angles is damn poor 2. touchpad seems to be opening charms menu when i dint intend to Must -Dos: Get a matte screen guard with the laptop and use it Still i like the laptop a lot.

Please don't buy this product!!! the display (very very poor angle of view, less than 5 degrees) is worst i had ever seen, and the HP support is pathetic as well, they are claiming this is expected from a high end HP HD display, because it has a touch-screen as well. I am trying to get it replaced, wish me luck :-|

I am reviewing this laptop after using it for 15 days .. Received within 24 hrs ( One day Guarantee ) with excellent packaging. Lets go through some of its Nice features 1) 4th Generation i5 Processor . This gives more battery backup compared to predecessors due to the reduction of its die size to 22nm . Its giving me minimum of 2.5 - 3 hrs under normal usage ( browsing , movie , music ) 2) Touch screen works flawless . No issues so far. 3) 8 GB RAM is more than excepted for this range of laptop. 4) 1920 x 1080 Pixel FULL HD gives you a crisp Display. Trust me , HD movies never looked better. 5) NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M can play any game that's out there with medium settings .. Gives you a decent 30 + FPS with games like NFS rivals , GRID 2 , Portal 2 ... 6) Backlit keyboard , Beats audio are good bargain. 7) Got Laptop bag along with this . ( Not sure if its some offer which FlipKart gave me or it is already included in the price tag). Its not mentioned in the Specs. Not So Good features 1) This laptop comes up Windows 8.1 Single Language . Please note that this is different from 8.1 Pro edition. Without pro edition you cannot run Windows Phone Emulator ( If you are into App development ) which I realized only after buying :( bummer .... 2) The Keyboard is not sturdy . I fear that the keys will just come out if I type very fast . ( Not a huge issue though but definitely a frustrating one ). 3) The viewing angle could have been made better . 4) The inclination angle of the screen is small compared to other laptops . Even tough there are some negative points for this laptop, I would have say that for 70 K range , I was not able to find any other laptop which gives me so many features.

I purchased it from Flipkart and got the product in 24hrs . great delivery by flipkart . Coming to the Product - Overall a very good bargain with the HP 3 yr ADP warranty(you have to pay 999) & MCafee Internet security free for 1 yr . Pros - 1 TB HDD - a lot of space . 8 GB SSD - very fast shutdown & bootup . touch screen works flawlessly with win 8.1 . NVIDIA 2gb graphics for gamers (though not played any high end games yet ) Beats Audio - This is really nice if you prefer listening songs without headphones . Very nice AL finish body . It is sturdy . FHD display - 1080p movies really look different & awsome . Resolution is actually 1920*1080 . Backlit Keyboard , Webcam , Fingerprint Sensor . Does not heat very much . RAM - 8 GB normal at this range . Cons - Touchpad sometimes becomes unresponsive . Very hard to press touchpad buttons . 2.56 kg is a bit heavy . Battery backup is less . at normal wifi usage & normal brightness , it is around 3 hrs . Will be even less if you play high end games . advise - Please get a matte finish screen guard for the glossy screen .

pros, backlit kbd 8gb ram nividia g740 i 5 4th gen touch screen good spkrs gud built responsive touch screen and pad cons... lil bulky had to buy ext. dvd writer with it, but who cares good packing by flipkart...
