bought this product 4-5 days ago, its great with less heating compared to other hp products games running smoothly... Should go for it
Hi, I have purchased this laptop from flipkart and the delivery was awesome. The laptop is extremely eye catching and very sleek as compared to other brands of the same range. I am writing this post to make you aware for the few things which I experienced with this laptop. This machine came with windows 8 and I have upgrade it to windows 8.1 and I invited the problem. Well the problem is not to be worried for but it made me quite depressed. The screen went black, I tried all the efforts but it didn’t resume back hence I have to force shut down it by pressing the power button for a while. Again I on it but the problem persist. I got very disappointed. Well after 3 to 4 times of force shutdown I got the display back but it was flickering time to time. I called in HP customer care for the solution and I got the clue from them that the problem is with the display driver. This machine has 1 gb AMD graphic card I downloaded the latest driver form the AMD website and installed it, anyhow for the time being the problem got resolved but after a few minutes later the screen went off due to the idle time out and didn’t resume back when I tried to press any key. Finally I have to force shut down it. I called in HP again and this time they couldn’t help because they have already helped by telling to update the driver. They asked me to uninstall the AMD graphic driver and let the system run on Intel graphic driver, well, the problem resolved after uninstalling the AMD graphic driver. And they asked me to let it like this until they find any solution and my case was remained open. After few hours windows automatically downloaded the latest Graphic drives form internet and installed it and this time there was no problem and its running fine. Solution cum conclusion First download all the automatic updated After that, download windows 8.1 upgrade but do not restart it from the upgrade installer instead choose restart later. Go to device manage and uninstall the AMD graphic Driver completely Restart the system manually Everything will be fine. If you are facing problem with the right click, i.e. if the context menu pops out to left instead to right just follow the following steps. Go to Run. Copy and paste this command: shell:::{80F3F1D5-FECA-45F3-BC32-752C152E456E} A window will open Choose the other tab Select the left-handed option and press ok. That’s it. If you are facing the shutdown problem i.e. the system is shutdown but the power led is on follow the following steps. Open Run command box Type powercfg.cpl and press enter Power options windows will open Click on the link “choose what power buttons do” Uncheck “Turn on faster startup” This option will be disabled to uncheck just click the link above “change settings that are currently unavailable” Press ok and test by shut down. i baught this from a local shop, @48k its an average product, no extra ordinary specs.sound and picture quality is average. i will suggest you to buy sony rather than this, coz vaio looks cool, sound is unbeatable at any time with there extra features like xloud etc. i baught it but still my crush is on sony f15318 which is awesome all the ways and really looks that something yu have.i was crazy for touch. but my craze was over in 2-3hours, cos its not comfortable use bulky laptop's touch. p.s go to some shop n first see difference between hp 15 n sony f15 series. thanks.
