Please don't buy this laptop.It has so many pblms like wifi,bluetooth,card reader.I am facing all these problems with in 5 days.It is waste of money.
The laptop has great battery life, you can squeeze 6-8 hours on it with low brightness and low usage. It is also quite fast. The delivery was also good, got in in time with in-a-day delivery. But, at the start, when I was using it, it suddenly hanged. I contacted HP, it was found it's not a hardware issue and they said to upgrade the OS. I upgraded the OS, which broke the WiFi driver. So, I had a fine working laptop with no WiFi. Then I went back to the factory config and again got the hanging problem. I have lost data several times. And I have to manually turn it off. I upgraded the OS and recovered the laptop OS several times and found out that when you upgrade the Linux Kernel, the WiFi driver breaks. It's a known issue in Ubuntu:- http://askubuntu.com/questions/359015/wifi-not-getting-detected-in-my-hp-pavilion-15-n011tu-having-ubuntu-12-04 HP says that it doesn't have Ubuntu drivers and they were trying to push Windows as a winner, which I don't want. Why sell such a laptop with Ubuntu when there are no drivers for WiFi? Moreover, what shocked me is that HP gave me warranty from September and not from the original date of purchase (Xmas). WS Retail said they can't stamp the warranty card correctly, being an online store. Now, I have a a hanging laptop with outdated software, hope HP helps me.
I brought this laptop from flipcart this week.. Today i called HP helpline HP support supervisor Putu Vaidya told me that you paid less price by buying Ubuntu . We have corporate alliance with Windows only .. This is an insult to Linux community . I wonder why HP is selling Ubuntu laptops when they do not have compatible drivers.

Keyboards are well space and has a attractive track pad. Its has great quality speakers. And regarding drivers. I was facing problem problem with WiFi and Bluetooth driver as they were not getting installed. But finally,they got installed.
use Win 8.1 Pro and get all the drivers it need and it works perfectly. Bluetooth, WiFi and card reader worked perfactly fine on my machine
