First of all Thanks for delivering it before expected date! It was nicely packed! well many of the games worked lag-free at high settings except few of them!!!!! Battlefield, Crysis3, Dishonoured, Doom3, Sniper Elite, etc worked great on it!!! Best part it has Windows 8.1 and updated version of software like Microsoft Office 2013 pre installed PROs: 1) No need of creating backup DVDs. It has partition for backup in its internal hard disk to recover when needed 2) It metal brush design makes it a scratch free 3) no hanging up at multitasking 4) control your task just by using gesture on mouse pad 5) lots of space to store your stuff 6) good quality webcam installed 7) no heating issue,just a little heat which any laptop gives out while gaming (nothing like 120deg As mentioned above by one of reviewer) CONS Haven't encountered anything wrong with it yet!!!! THINGS TO DO AFTER BUYING IT 1) CREATE A BACK UP 2) GIVE A FRESH START BY UNINSTALLING UNWANTED JUNKS 3) REGISTER THE PRODUCT AT HP TO GET ADP (accidental damage protection) WARRANTY 4) RESISTER YOUR WINDOWS 8.1 (IT IS SELF ACTIVATED ONCE CONNECTED TO INTERNET) Its just a myth that AMD cant compete with intel! intel i5 has same specification as that for AMD A10 processor! Atleast AMD don't charge so much that you have to compromise with lesser HDD space and low RAM just to get a good processor to get a laptop in this range!

((remember: it is the ONLY laptop in this price range that will support even 3DS MAX 2014 version.)) they run so smooth, without any hiccup. I have used ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, AFTER EFFECTS, PREMIERE and SONY VEGAS PRO and all in the latest versions(CS6 MASTER COLLECTION OR 2014/2015). They both runs smooth and without any difficulty. the RENDERING TIME is also slightly LESS than the laptops at this price range.(i have used two more).nn4. the webcam is pretty good. it has good color reproduction. LOVED IT.nn5. Looks: its plastic for sure(like every other laptop in this price range)..but it has a nice finish which gives it a metal like look. there is a nice and crisp grey color lining around the black mass..this is something i really liked. and one more thing, unlike other laptops with big stickers around the touchpad, this one adopts a minimalist attitude and has only a few stickers and they are very small. overall it looks very clean and edgy. nnP.S im not much of a gamer. so.. no idea on gaming performances. :)nnCONS:nthere is next to none. only a few small ones. nn1. the combo jack of microphone input and speaker output is confusing. it wont work for both purpose at the same time. some say its my driver problem. but i couldn't solve it.n**problem SOLVED buy a converter where INPUT IS 1 3.5MM JACK and output is 4 CONDUCTOR O/P MALE JACK**nn2. the in built microphone captures too much of surround noises and has a small range.nnVERDICT : ***BEST IN CLASS FOR WORKING PURPOSE AND PROFESSIONAL.***n n AVERAGE FOR ENTERTAINMENT. NO IDEA ON GAMING.

My findings after using this lap for 1 month :--nn1. It doesn't get hot during normal tasks, but yes during gaming CPU temp went to 65C, this is not AMD specific problem. Most of the 2GB dedicated graphics laptops need a cooling fan while playing games.n2. For normal computing it's great at multitasking, give it whatever you have and no lag at all.n3. Mostly HP apps are useless except HP support assistant it automatically installs latest drivers and even BIOS updates.n4. Played NFS rivals which is one of the most graphics demanding game, this thing can handle that game only at low setting. At high setting its still playable but there is little lag.n5. Speaker sound is great. Those who complain about it, in CONTROL PANEL>DTS AUDIO> LISTENING EXPERIENCE. Little tweaking and sound becomes WOW.n6. Didn't liked the touchpad because its dotted and there is little friction while using it, getting used to it.nnNo flaw noticed by me yet. In 40k this is the best you can get. I also got HP branded backpack worth Rs.1500. Very happy with this lap.

I don't know this laptops problem but it's get hot....... and by hot I mean steam hot.... It reaches 100'c in no time... While writing this review my Processor Temp. is 120'c and I haven't even done anything heavy or CPU intensive task to make it so.nn- ReX™©

The laptop is excellent. And it comes with a backpack in the sales package which Flipkart hasn't mentioned. But the only flaw is that it comes with Windows 8.1 which I found is extremely difficult to use and also full of bugs. The problem I faced, many of you will face. So I'm explaining the solution. nProblem - External Hard Drives (eg - WD) are NOT recognized by Win 8.1nSolution - install a third party partition manager like EaseUs Partition Manager. Keeping the hard drive plugged in, open the software. Click on the hard drive name. You'll see that it has no drive letter assigned to it. See the left pane of the software and assign a drive letter to the drive. Click 'Apply'. Now thank me and enjoy your hard drive. nnIf I come up with any more problems with Windows 8.1 I'll edit this review.
