First of all, I want to say that I did a lot (read A LOT) of research before zeroing on this laptop.I checked most of the well known brands and found this laptop's configuration to be the best.I also read extensively about processors, GPUs (Graphics Processing Units) and whatever I have written is based on those studies.This is a very new model and it comes with hardware which have been recently launched so you get the latest stuffs. So lets start with the pros : 1. Intel's i3-4030u Processor with 1.9 Ghz clock speed.Now for most of you who don't know, let me start by saying that this is a brand new processor series which Intel very recently launched in 2014 and its made with the latest technology making it a very silent, less power consuming yet a very powerful performer at the same time, surpassing the i5, 3rd gen line of processors in most benchmarks.So win-win. 2.Massive 1tb storage, so you don't have to worry about space. 3.Win 8.1, genuine, pre-loaded (so you don't have to worry about installing OS), plus HP softwares, CyberLink Youcam, Iso reader etc all latest versions. 4.Lets talk about the GPU now.A lot of laptop makers out there are giving so-called 2Gb Graphics card out there.Now card performance depends on a lot of things, firstly the brand.Nvidia is better than AMD.AMD cards suck.period.Then comes the series.Most laptops are giving Nvidia Geforce GT 720m, which is an 'entry' level DX11 card.But this baby has the Gt 830m, which is a 'mid' level DX11 card.Long story short, this laptop's 2gb Nvidia Gt 830m is a better performer than most cards out there in this range and its a recent 2014 launch version so better anyway. So rest assured one can play all latest games upto 2013 like Fifa 14, Sleeping Dogs, CODs, Battlefields, Gtas with ease in medium to high settings. 5.Screen size is HUGE, 15.4, so playing games, watching videos is a delight. 6.It shines in the looks department too.Be sure to turn some heads with this baby. 7.Beats audio.Need I say more? 8.No heating up issues, it comes with HP cool sense, which works. Unless one is playing games, but that's obvious. 9.Comes with HP recovery, you don't need to have Win8 Cd to reboot it and give it a new life again. 10.Comes with 1 year free accidental damage protection.At 999, you get 2 years onsite warranty + Mcafee 1 year subscription free. 11.Battery backup is HUGE.More than 4 hours during normal work.More than 3 hours while playing Graphics heavy games. 12. 2 Usb 3.0, 1 Usb 2.0 port. ok lets be fair and put some cons in too. 1.Little slow while opening Intel Graphics center or while right-clicking. 2.Some people do not like Win8.And they are not getting a choice. 3.Big and heavy for someone who needs mobility and who need a laptop on the go. 4.Island style keyboard may be uncomfortable, for me it is a little. Didn't come up with anything else yet. Ok let me conclude by saying that I am not patronising this product nor am I being paid by HP or any brand for that matter for saying good stuffs about this laptop (In fact I was a lenovo loyalist a month ago) but this laptop is genuinely good.Mind you I needed lots of self persuasion to write this review (I am a lazy-bones, you see) but I wanted to help you all out there wondering whether you should buy this laptop or not.So go ahead and get this beast if you are looking for a complete laptop, which delivers the best in class performance and comfort at this range.

I purchased it for Rs. 38990 under cash back scheme of flipkart. Guys it has a nice build quality and cool looks. But processing wise it is a little bit slow laptop. And here are some facts on it - 1. Windows 8.1 is slow and there are a lots of pre-installed programs of HP and Microsoft, which makes the windows more slow. You can not install windows 7, because it is a windows 8.1 based system. If you will try to install windows 7, you will have to fully format your Hard Disk in NTFS Format. 2. 4th gen i3 processor is slower then 3rd gen i3, but is consumes less power and prevent laptop from heat also, so if you need a good processing speed, avoid i3 4th gen. Its clock speed is just 1.9 GHz. 3. Sound is good because of beats audio but lack of bass so, there should be a sub-woofer also. If you want a laptop with good processing speed, then go for a DOS based laptop. Do not buy a laptop that comes with Windows 8.1 because you will not able to install windows 7, and if you will install after some efforts(After Destroying Your Original Windows 8.1), laptop will hang for sure. I am facing the same problem. Here are some pros also like - Good Looks and Build Quality. Good Sound Quality. Decent Battery Backup (4+ Hours) Does Not Heats NVIDIA GEFORCE 830M Graphics, So Good For Gamers.

After making a through research in the market and over the internet for more than one month of spending my 8 month hard earned saving in purchasing my first laptop, i finally purchased HP Pavilion 15p027tx from hp store.(flipkart was a bit costly when i purchased it) Following is the detailed description PROCESSOR i3-4030u 4th GEN IS BETTER THAN i5-4210u and other similar variant NEVER THINK i7 are always better than any i5 and i5 are always better than any i3 i3 i5 i7 are only names of series they are not a particular processor Five basic factors that decide which processor is better 1.base frequency(which is more important than turbo frequency in general event.) In turbo frequency machine runs fast only in short brust but in the long run it works on base frequency. 13-4030u has a base frequency of 1.9ghz which is equal to about 2.1.ghz from its predecessor generations(straight comparison of different gen is wrong)The i5-4210 is 4th gen with turbo boot of 2.7ghz but base frequency of only 1.7ghz this means i5 is superb only at short brust with processing at 90% or above. 2.lithography The smaller the architecture the better its performance 3.TDP (Thermal design power) the lesser it is the more power efficient. 4th gen are specifically built for laptops. in desktop 3gen and 4gen are almost same but in mobile computing 4gen excels. this i3 has a tdp of mere 15w 4. Generation newer gen are better due to intel is following tick tok model. 5.No of Cores the more no of cores the better. RAM 4gb 1600hz not (333hz) ddr3 upgradable up to 12gb DEDICATED GPU Nvidia geforce 830m 2gb NEVER THINK that only more memory gpu are better this GPU belongs to 800 series is an entry level gpu but far better than geforce 820 and other older series nvidia and redon gpu due to many factors like memory, memory speed, texture rate,pixel rate etc You can play almost all games up to year 2011 at high settings comfortably. 15.6inch bright view screen size 1tb hard disk 5200rpm(not 7200rpm) the more rpm the faster but will consume energy more OPERATING SYSTEM WINDOWS 8.1 you get a genuine copy of windows 8.1 specifically preconfigured for this machine with all its drivers attached to it.before buying it i was a great fan of XP in Windows OS and after buying it for 2weeks i have to learn how to work on win 8.1(i was not even able to find where is the logout option) but after working for more than 3 months, now i swear i have never seen windows so blazing fast, so simple, so much efficient. (hard boot ~ 15 sec) win 8.1 are designed for touchscreen and touchpads on laptop. Pirate os do work but these days machines are having different hardware designs and pirate copy might not completely integrate with your lappy. further if you want to install linux os you can. BUILD QUALITY pavilion 15 are better than hp15 remember it is hp pavilion 15 not hp 15. pavilion is premium class.it has strong build, pretty good looks, scratch proof body, hp drive guard, full inland keyboard, dual sensitive touchpad for extra smooth multitouch light weight in its class, beats audio(recently being purchased by apple) dual microphone BATTERY BACKUP it has a 4 cell battery yet it last for more than 7hours at normal usage like word formating, net browsing , songs playback etc. it has negligible machine running sound and no heating issue. WARRANTY It also comes with ADP accidental damage protection with warranty. this laptop is really powerful and premium class laptop.I am a developer and gamer and this laptop is great for both usage in 40000rs

i hv bought this product .....its good for all use...only problem is its little bit slow..specially the right click. so any one can answer me that wheather this problem is perticular to me or its the problem of hp p027tx series.

Sexy LOOK!!!! with excellent configuration bUt processing speed little bit low.... BuT all the oThRr FeAtUres is vErY good.... eXcEllenT BattEry backup.... and last it is the best laptop in this range.....
