First of all I got 2000 off from standard charted and extra 5% off from flipkart, so got it for Rs. 20790 thanks to both of them, and special thanks to FK for its lightening delivery, booked it on 15th night and received it on 27th morning. I use the laptop for personal use and not for any official use or for heavy weight applications like SAP etc, for my kind of users this is the best. Only compromise is instead of Intel i3 this has Pentium quad core but for the people who do not use weighted apps there is no diff, rest of the config is the standard 500gb/4gb/15.6/1 USB 3.0 port/HD cam/HD BL LED/1.33mHZ/2.16gHz etc. Pentium quad core is superior to i3 as it got 4 cores processor where as i3 got 2 cores only. Speaking truth we never use 4 cores for home purpose and almost all the apps will be good with 1-2 cores, taking this into consideration 4 core is not of great use (for home purpose) and each core in i3 faster than Pentium QC, so i3 is faster but you will never realize this difference because the measure will be in micro seconds. If you have an app that makes use of multi core then Pentium QC is best. Sorry if I confused you... Satish Naidu
A perfect laptop with great service from HP.Browse the internet,watch videos and with 4gb of RAM,this laptop is capable of handling demanding applications as well.I am a happy camper.This is my first review btw even though I've been shopping with Flipkart since 2008 and have made purchases of more than a lakh cumulatively.I made the effort to write a positive review because the laptop means that much to me.
It's a very good working laptop. Working realy nice and smooth...design not satisfied me but considering the performance I satisfy a lot.
I m using this piece for last couple of weeks and the experience is truly magnificent. At this price point it is the best laptop in the market. As far as the performance is concern, its better than most of the 30k laptops. screen is just awesome, battery back 6-8 hrs on single charge, no heat what so ever, lag free operation, boot up within seconds, webcam and other connectivity features working properly, looks is slick and light weight. it is a great invesment........dont waste ur money on i3.....you will never regret your choice i bet .......
I bought this in flipkart and they delivered it the very next day - on my birthday! That too in standard delivery option! The packing was perfect and guess what? As a birthday present, HP even provided me the Laptop Backpack along with the laptop. This was not mentioned in the website, but I got the backpack. So 5 stars for Flipkart for their speedy delivery and packing! Coming to the laptop's performance: BATTERY: Doesn't eat up too much battery power, for me, it takes 2.5 to 3 hrs for the battery to drain (while playing games and watching movies) and slightly more than 3 hrs when I'm doing my office work. DISPLAY: Powerful, bright display without eating up the battery. But make sure you stick a scratch guard to it as soon as u buy the laptop -- for extra safety HARDWARE: Processor works well, doesn't hang even if I play high end games like NFS, GTA San Andreas or GTA 4. But I haven't tried GTA 5, COD or any other war games! Integrated Graphis card: Doesn't hang when playing games, games don't lag, and high end videos play well. This works way better than my prev. laptop's Dedicated 500MB Graphics card. Actually, it is always advisable to buy Graphics card integrated along with the Mother Board for low end users (NOT FOR GAMERS!) coz in case the laptop's mother board crashes, it would be easier for us to find a compatible-replacement MB. Memory 4G is utilized well and if one needs to increase it, they can buy an 8G and insert it in the slot. But I feel 4G should be more than enough! This laptop has chic-let layout keyboard. Keyboard and mouse pad are very smooth to work with. For the first one year, there is accidental damage protection, so if anything happens to the hardware, it will be replaced at no extra cost! HDD: Pathetic! they have only Drives (C: and D:) C drive holds the OS and its kinda like 365G. And the remaining 90G is for the recovery disk. Saving the docs and pics in the OS' Drive is not advisable coz if in case the OS crashes, you would lose all the data. But you cannot do anything for this coz if in case you modify the OS or partitions, you'll end up tampering the warranty. So keep mum until the warranty ends, then, you can do a clean sweep of the OS and make ur own partitions. OS: Win 8.1.. nothing much to say! the OS Rules! HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT: They give HP Support assistant tool and that tells u what to install and what not! Tool's really helpful I tell you! Hope this helps! Im enjoying with this laptop!
