I am the Regular Customer of Flipkart .nThis is my First Review On Flipkart .nFirst thing first Flipkart service and Delivery Just Awesome .nExcellent Packing from Flipkart .nI feel One of the Best Online shopping website on Earth .nnComing to Laptop .nGood Build Quality nWorks fine with Windows 8.1 x64 Bit version .nDriver support is Good Just download " HP Support Assistant " All driver updates will be installed automatically from this tool No Need to search and install manually.nBattery back up is Good about 4 Hr Normal Use .nNo Heating issues .nnBut the real issue is Here nLook for this n" 1 Year Onsite Warranty with ADP Hard Bundled with ADP Only "nI registered the product on the "www.hp.com/in/getadp" nAfter few days HP Replayed that the serial number is Incorrect .nI got shocked. Is it like "No Warranty" ? nCalled the HP Call center But No use .nOne of the worst response I got at HP Customer Care .nInformed this to Flipkart also ,nNow HP ADP Team is asking for the Picture of the Laptop Stickers etc I sent them then also not registered .nNow I am feeling I have done mistake by taking this Laptop .nI Never thought HP - ADP Can be so bad .nnIf You are planing to Buy this HP laptop Be Careful You may end up with No Warranty.nnBetter buy some other Company Laptop .

Update: after 14 days of use.nHP has confirmed ADP by mail. Thank you.nRaising the rating to 5 stars from 4 stars. nSurprise: This laptop can work up to 8+ hours as a reader/browser in power saver plan, wifi on only when loading pages, using firefox in reader mode, low brightness.nPS: battery already shows 3% as lost capacity. nEnd Update.n-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------nPrice, warranty, adpnNow that the price has gone up it looks like a steal, at Re 25890/- with free hp backpack. nPresently the Warranty status shows it ends in March 2016, 2 month less than one year from purchase.nHave registered for ADP and warranty. So hoping the status will change to May 2016 after they update from the purchase invoice.nI Will update this review when that happens. nOrder process , delivery, packagenWas looking for a laptop for a student going to college soon.nInitially thought of buying a low end gaming laptop like Toshiba L50B I 3110 withni3 4005u and R7 m260 at Rs35,000/-(with Win8.1). But then I saw this i3 5th gen nlaptop at 25,890/- from WSRetail. Decided to skip the gaming part, (afraid that gaming nmight overtake study) and ordered on 26th may 2015. Was apprehensive about the warranty part since ordering from an online shop. There is one review here warning about the adp. nBut there was a comforting 30 day replacement period from WSRetail. nThe package was delivered on 29th May 2015 one day ahead of schedule.nPacked well but but the package was probaly dropped on its corner and was a little freckled and soft. Anyway accepted it hoping the contents were safe still. nThere was a laptop backpack free from HP! nnEverything inside the package was fresh and new un-touched. nLooksnGood. Thin clamshell with polished granite finish. nDisplaynQuite good for the price. Good to look at HD res pictures, wallpapers and video. nMaybe you should increase color saturation to 15 in the intel Gfx control panel. nAnd do the cleartype setup in windows. Viewing angles are strictly so so. nYou will need to bend the display back to get proper contrast.nIt is reflective and probably not for outdoor use. nBatteryn41 wh.nGood backup time of about 7 to 8 hours browsing on wifi.nCharger is very good quality. nCameranso so. Not hd res. poor framerate. nSoundnOK. No bass. Good on headphones. Has DTS settings. nCpuni3 5010u. Quite fast and frugal with power consumption.nNever saw it go to 100% usage.(hyperthreaded - so 100% utilization difficult to achievendoes not mean it is not fully stressed)nExcept ie 11 everything is quick. Probably the slow hard disk causing delays.nAdd a mini usb or sdcard for readyboost. It makes the stuttering go away.nMemory - nSingle channel populated- 12.8 GB/secnDid not check if HP service centre can upgrade it to 8GB dual channel.nNo flaps at back panel to insert new memory. nnGraphics - intel HD5500nTransformers2 game 25-30 fps at 800*600 lowest settings.nFifa 14 at 1366*768 Vsync off, medium settings 30-100 fps. nn3Dmark11 performance ndriver version 10.18.14.4222 nScore P1096 nnGraphics Score 1006 nPhysics Score 2921 nCombined Score 868 nGraphics performance might improve if another memory module is added. nKeyboardnFull size chiclet keyboard. Ok for use when you get used to it.nTrackpadnbig with buttons, easy to use. buttons a bit hard. nInstall synaptic driver but disable the synaptic caller service to save power.nCard readernAwkward placement. There was space at the left side to make it sit flush and notnso conspicuous. Can read SDHC cards at UHS1 speeds. Do not know if it supports SDXC. No detailed specs available at HP website.nOverall HP makes it difficult to use their website. Driver download links play hide and seek on ie11.nBuild, durabilitynOK build, there is some light bleed at the edges of the display. nDifficult to open the lid.nsome plastic panel around the display a bit loose. nOverall a good laptop for the college going crowd.

Blue tinted screen

I bought this laptop from a local store.nEveything is working fine but there is a blue tint on screen and color vibrancy is very low. Is this normal for this model.
