Bought this from shop in my city as it was cheaper, with a lot of free accessories.nnPros:n *Comparatively light-weight and cool design with awesome curves.n *5+ hours of battery life with considerable use.n *Beats audio - quality soundn *2GB Graphics on a 14" laptop! (Gaming performance is better than you can expect)n *Good and responsive touch-pad (bad buttons though)n *Good backpack that comes free.nnCons:n *Bad quality keyboard - feels kind of cheapn *Display is 1366x176, not 1400x900 (Full HD)n *No back-lit keyboard (It's there in US models)n *Only 1-year warranty - it's expensive to extend it.nnThere's SSD on this model, but you cannot access it - it's cache only. Go for it if you care for a few seconds less boot speed (save 4k otherwise by choosing the non-SSD model).nnAnd it doesn't have a disc drive, for your information.
the laptop is just awesome.. weighing around 1.7kg.. easy to carry anywhere.. But the beats audio dissapointed me.. It does produce a bass, but not better than JBL speakers that come with(select) dell laptops.. You will feel the beats audio great...if you have never heard JBL speakers on dell.. need for speed hot pursuit 2012 runs very smoothly... overall.. its a good laptop to buy.
I have bought it from HP store as it's high in flipkart nThe first thing you will notice the LID which comes with luster aluminum coating bothering you becoz the finger impressions lasts for long so have to carry a cloth always , coming to the way it looks seriously I love it !!nPerformance: The performance is up to the mark with I5 processor n 4GB is good enough to do daily tasks and coming to n hard disk space 500GB it could be more but 32msatan which is used for mark for Ultrabook (INTEL rapid n techonolgy) Used for fast boot up resume purposen works like a charm .nI have compared my lappy with hp dv6 having i7 processor ,while the booting the dv6 took nearly 56 seconds where envy took 22 secs and for shutting down it takes 11 secs and to resume from sleep it takes not more than 3 seconds .nnBattery Backup: n HP Gave a 8hr battery backup where we get 5 and above which is normally a good one . I use vmware workstation running 3 os's simultaneously and then also it gives me a three hours, for normal usage it give 6 and above nn-> Beats Audio boosts up the beats n-> Had 2GB graphic card but nevva used till now n-> Touch Pad is Awesome it got lot more functions than I thought n-> The back is fully rubberized which gives you a feel to hold n moren-> The lap doesn't weighs much which can be carried easily n anywherennCONS: n n -> No back-lit which i seriously regret n -> Display could be better n -> Webcam is just Okay nnOverall It is a Good ultrabook from HP with some compromises at this price range it's value for money if your budget is under 60k then sure go for this !
You have to be kidding me. everyone who says the battery backup is bad i am sorry to say yours must have been the defective product in the lot. I personally would recommend anyone who wants good battery life to look no further than this model. I get about 6.5-7.5 hours steady battery backup with watching movies & surfing the internet. When I play games however the battery life goes down to 4.5-5 hours. Everything with the Laptop is absolutely perfect. Only bad thing i can figure is the keyboard, it is not backlit & i think the touchpad could have been better. Otherwise brilliant laptop, buy it & you will understand why ultrabooks are the next generation computers.
I was buy new Ultrabook HP but not getting battery back up more than 1 hour and keyboard is defective and once i was complain within 20 days then they refuse my complain and given advice to open my new laptop and replace part. There is not suggestion to buy HP ultrabook....
