My Existing Dell Latitude have already completed three years and was looking for a right replacement. My budget was around 60 K and I was looking for a machine which is sleek, light weight and should be ideal for every day business use. My last three laptops were dell and all have given trouble free experience with outstanding customer support. So my preference went to dell and looked at various options in Latitude series, but I was disappointed to see the same old boring design with no major changes. Then I looked at Lenovo L series, T Series and X Series; I liked the classic design of Lenovo especially the key boards which is optimised for every day computing. Only the L series was coming in my budget and it was very bulky, while the T and X series were very expensive and i could not justify the incremental price I give for the T and X at the same time the Proc and other Spec were little bit outdated compared to the competition. Then I accidently saw the 430 G2 and got impressed with the Spec and design especially the weight and was a good bargain. The build quality is averge, the design is good.The Key board is a pain( I doubt it will last for an year at least), the display is average(nothing much of a difference from competition). The touch pad is not good and the sensitivity is below par. Number of ports are adequate, you have HDMI, 4 USB and a VGA port. The performance of the machine is all depend upon the proc and memory, core i5 with 4GB RAM is adequate but I recommend for 8GB RAM. The 4210 processor is a well balanced CPU having adequate Proc power with less power consumption at an optimum price. If you are looking for a lightweight laptop in decent price go for it. But if you are heavy user there are better options. I cannot categorise this machine in enterprise class, its between an enterprise class and consumer class machine
