awesome features i never saw this kind of features at this price great backup up to 7 hrs 8gb ram 5 rating for 7200rpm hard disk anti glare display is super fine and two usb 3.0 ports best laptop for people with price 40k but for the gamers hd 4000 graphics wont be sufficient if u want to play games like Modern warfare3 on ur lap better dont think about this lap
probooks are always good.... 4gb ram is enough....no need of 8gb ram instead that it could have Graphic Processor AMD Radeon 7650M HD.... probook has better build quality and amazing battery backup(5-6 hours)... its not the best one for gaming... overall-- dont hesitate,just go with probook 4540s...
Ordered and received within 2 days. Packaging could have been better. Box in box but the bubble wrap was only on one side. The laptop is great for my use. Installed Ubuntu 12.10 easily and have been using it heavily. Battery lasts for over 4 hours. I bought this to run virtual machines, so the 8GB RAM and 7200 rpm HDD is really helping. Hardly any noise. THe brushed aluminium looks fabuluous. What could be better: nothing much - some small things. With the space for 15.6 in laptop, the keys could have been a tad bigger (I have chunky fingers). The power socket is set a little inwards, so is not very convenient. But will get used to it.
After reading many reviews, and user feedback, I was little hesitated to go for this. Yet the specs of this laptop were really compelling me to buy this at this good price. I never got disappointed about what it promised. Struggled to download individual drivers from HP site. I myself manged to get all the drivers for Windows8,XP and Linux Mint(Linux has most drivers. So no Prob) And all the security applications. A waste of precious time to configure a business laptop. A DVD with drivers would have saved a lot of time=money. Thanks for Accurate info given by this site about specs I never prefer to play games on laptops. thats really a pain for me even if there are best graphics. So I never try playing big games here. I play on my desktop anyways. It has a very pleasing impact on playing videos and working with office files. Thanks
I've been using this laptop since 2 weeks for about 10-12 hrs a day. From my observation: Pros: * no heating & noise even after prolonged use; * very good LCD(mat finish) screen, no shine & very less reflection; * good keyboard; easy to type; (except the compressed arrow keys; but will get used to) * touchpad is good ; doesn't obstruct typing (like in many cheap laptops) * good & sturdy looks; * good no. of ports; Cons: * the biggest dissatisfaction is the mentioned battery life(upto 7 hrs). On my setup( Ubuntu 12.04) with no graphic intensive task running, it gives around 4 hrs. * CD drive is located at very bottom; most of the time i have to lift the laptop a bit to insert/eject the CD/DVD; if the laptop base is not hard and flat, u'll have to lift to insert/eject. Overall, it is a powerful laptop (except for hardcore gaming) for business users and software developers at this price. It would be great if also accompanied with a bag.
