Really the best sound ever with Dolby digital audio. Performance is the best.Much better than the other brands. Key board along with the additional numpad. Keyboard is quiet sealed type so that dust may not enter inside it. The lcd quality is awesome with extra brightness and widescreen view as compared with other brands. I really love to have it. The best thing is that if you buy this from flipkart then HP is giving additional 1 year warranty with no extra cost. Thanks again to Flipkart for offering what they committed to.
worst battery backup neither 45min. cooling fan does not work mostly. it means you have to carry always a cooling pad for it.
1st let me comment on Flipkart!.. Well i ordered the laptop on a Saturday evening and the laptop arrived on Tuesday morning..! Wow that was fast.! Now for the review of the laptop. Pros: 1. 3rd Gen i5 processor 2. 4GB Ram 3. ATI 7670m 1GB Dedicated Graphics - with switchable feature 4. 2 x USB 3.0 ports 5. Looks 6. Keyboard with a numpad 7. Awesome speakers. 8. 60 day trial Norton Internet Security 2012 Cons: 1. Windows 7 HB (u can use a patch to convert to Win 7 HP known as Windows Aero enabler) 2. 500GB HDD (Only 444GB is formatted space out of which 30+ GB used by Windows and other HP apps) 3. The arrow keys are too small. If your gaming buy an XBOX 360 wired controller from Flipkart!. 4. No recovery or driver disks provided. Need to make your own. 5. 1366x768 resolution screen. Could have been a 1600x900 resolution. Overall an awesome product. For its price its brilliant. It is recommended that you buy it form flipkart only as it is cheaper and they also provide accidental damage protection..!
pros: > ultimate performance with the i5 3rd gen(processor rating of 7.1!!) > intel hd 4000 and the mid range ati graphics gives more than sufficient fps for latest games graphic requirment > bright led screen with altec lansing speakers,loudness is not as high as xps but clarity and quality is unbeatable! > a small double tap feather touch button just to lock and unlock the touchpad(i liked it personally) > island style keyboard with numeric keypad > usb 3.0 ports and comes with basic pre-installed softwares like office,adobe,power dvd...etc and yes a laptop bag(not backpack type) > and finally...great looks...with sparkling black texture! > warranty comes with 1 year accidental cover cons: > relatively small arrow keys(only up and down keys) > comes with windows 7 home basic(could have been the premium version at this price range) final word: you cannot get any better of dell/vaio/lenovo at this price range, great overall package by hp, better than the inspiron series of dell in all respect.
