I own this laptop but did not purchased from flipkart, instead i bought it from some local shop (got phone no. from JD), ordered through phone and got delivery on the same day and that too at far less price. Pros: 1. Since it is a gaming laptop it does not heat at all even while playing GTA-4 or skyrim. 2. windows 8 runs smooth. 3. system processing speed is great and while color seems good. 4. Again no heating problem at all. I write this because earlier i was using AMD laptop which overclocks and gets heated. This is cool.. 5. Over all good price for money if u are getting it at a lower price than mentioned above.. just like i got. 6. webcam is good. Cons: 1. These new G6 laptops uses switchable graphic card. I updated the windows with latest updates and had some problem using switchable graphic card (SGC). While playing skyrim the game was detecting only intel 4000 card and not ATI 7670. this made me to reinstall and run factory setup. After reinstalling skyrim was detecting ATI card. But after installing automatic win updates it again started detecting intel4000. so there seems to be problem with SGC. Please search on net on this. 2. a bit heavy . 3. no backlight keyboard. 4. HP logo does not light up. 5. Sound quality is not good enough as compare to beat audio series of HP. You can surely go for this laptop but may get better deals with local shops.

I am using this one for a week and without doubt this is the best laptop available at this price range for Software professionals. i5 3rd generation, 8 GB RAM and 1 TB hard disk. What else you can look for ?? I have installed Oracle 11g R2 , Teradata , Informatica powercenter 9.1 and OBIEE 11g . Still there is no sign of slowing down. nnThe look is also great , keys feels very good in touch . The screen is good too. Getting close 4 hours of Back up which is more than enough.nnAs usual Flipkart delivery is quick and perfect.

Well, apparently seeing the lack of reviews for this lappy, i decided to fill up some space with my own review. A thing to be noted, I did not buy this from Flipkart.nnWhat can I say about the laptop, its like awesomeness in a single package. Instead of blabbing uselessly, let me put a pro's and con's list:nnPro's:n*Windows 8 - Many may not like it, but I think its a more beautiful Windows 7.n*Core i5 3230m - It is much much more than enough for even heavy games(Yes, I'm a gamer :) )n*AMD Radeon HD 7670m - A very powerful GPU for a laptop. Runs games like Crysis 2, Most Wanted 2, PES 13 and AC3 at decent settings buttery smooth. And for those who arent satisfied with it, I suggest saving up to get an Alienware or stuff like that.n*1 TB HDD - 500 GB is enough for most, so 1 TB is kinda overkill.n* Ample number of USB ports for a laptop.nnCon's:n* Battery life of 3 hours - I had wished for more, but then I realized that the powerful CPU and GPU are the main reasons for this.n* Inner glossy surface - Although the outer and inner surface have visibly the same coating, the outer is always as good as new, while the inner has a habit of keeping the fingerprints.n* Heating - During playing some heavy games, it gets heated up quite a bit, but nothing unnatural, cause when a laptop has a GPU, its bound to get heated up. A cooling pad allows for optimal gaming experience.nnThere are two things - the HD screen and the Altec Lansing Speakers, which I could neither categorize as a pro or a con. They both were not as good as I had initially expected, but they're not horribly disappointing or anything like that, they're just Okay.nnAnyway, its a total delight to use this lappy. The carrying backpack provided is of good quality. All in all, its a wonderful laptop, especially for a starter like me.

I bought this laptop few days ago, and trust me fellas, this is worth every penny. If this one's got an i7 processor, it will be one of the highest configuration laptops available and thats the reason I mentioned "Mid-High Configuration laptop". nTo make this beast perform to its limit, just assign the application (game or software) to the AMD catalyst and set it to high performance.nBattery Backup is also good. For day to day operations like music, reading or surfing, the backup goes up to 6 hours with ease. nUnlike other related HP ultrabooks, this thing does not get heated up even after prolonged hours of usage. Even with more than 5 apps open at a time, the speed is extraordinary. If you are a crazy laptop user, its worth a shot.

Worth buying this laptop...nnReason why i bought this laptop was the Ci5 3230M variant processor where as most of the other Ci5 laptops are powered by 3210M variant processor.nnI would have been more happy if the same laptop comes out with HM77 chipset, if my understanding on chipset is not wrong. But B75 powers most of the todays Ci5 processors.nnSame config in other brands costs 5k more than this.
