I purchased this laptop 3 months back. Within this 3 months, I have been calling the customer care ,going to the service center regularly. nIt's performance is not at all good. The laptop hangs when you work simultaneously even on simple applications(Windows media player,excel,word etc) .nFirst they replaced the battery. Then re-installed the OS twice. But they are not able to resolve the issue. nAnd it's performance is not at all worth it's price. You end up frustrated using this product.n(Note : May be the product that they sold to me is defective but it may not be the case with everyone.)

So, as you read all of the reviews you might be slightly bent towards purchasing this product. But, trust me do not go for it. All of the reviews here tell how this is working when they received it or in its initial months, and how it looks. I have been using it for 7 months by now, and I feel like it was the worst product I have ever received. Its fan is not silent, it has a perpetual cacophonous sound coming from it and it is not the usual sound that comes from the fan. it is quite a disturbing sound coming from it, and same i have checked with other models as well, it is there in every specimen of this series. further, HP support sucks a big time. I have sent my laptop like for 5 times by now for customer care but instead of resolving my issues they have provided me with scratches on the laptop and later denying all the claims. THIS LAPTOP SUCKS and yea HP as well. I have much more to say about it but overall it is a bad pick. All the best.
Under exchange offer, as was on the print, not honoured. Pathetic.
The item is cancelled by the supplier after taking the order! A complete waste of time.In my view we should take out such sellers! It is better not to display the product rather than taking payments and then cancelling!
