with 3xpro launched at 16499, where as this 3x (very high price at 21k) is a lower version compared to 3xpro. 3x is 720p screen, 8Grom, where are 3xpro has a FHD screen + 16ROM. idol-x+/p-81 are better compared to price list. wakeup huawei, if u want to get into indian midrange market.nnIn malaysia, 3x is launched at very lower price ( 12-13k rupees,) but in india its 21k. Why double standards huawei???, the same is true for 3c too :(nnupdate 27 july 2014, why will some1 buy this when xiaomi redmi note costs 10k with xactly same spec(+ more like OTG) ???
First of all let me clarify, I bought this phone from Shenzhen, China and not from India. The price I paid is much lesser than that in India. Now talking about the Brand. This Brand is not a cheap Chinese Brand to start with. This is a big brand, people who have visited China would know. Dumb people who judge a product by their branding activities please avoid this phone. Not that Huawei does not do branding but simply because India does not seem to be a focused market for them as of now. Now talking about statistics. This Brand Huawei is number 3 in Worldwide smart phone shipments (in units), no 1 being Apple and no 2 being Samsung. nnNow talking about the phone:nThe specs are too good for this price. 3000MAH, Octacore, 2GB RAM and 8GB Internal capacity expandable upto 32GB with SSD. The screen resolution is good enough. The UI is developed on Android and gives you an amazing experience. The look of the phone is to die for. The phone does not heat at all. Browsing and gaming is super smooth. This Huawei Customized OS comes bundled with apps like Memory Cleaning, Video Create/Edit, Torch etc (Not too sure of the India offering)nnThe only issue with my phone is that it does not run google maps(since I BOUGHT THIS FROM CHINA, the indian offerings have google play and maps preinstalled). I am awaiting the Binary OS files to be launched by Huawei. The same would resolve the maps problem as well. However, the price I paid for this phone is enough of a delight for me to let go of Google maps!!!
