Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus successfully launched its flagship smartphone – OnePlus 11 – at its Cloud 11 event in India on February 7th. In terms of pricing, the newly launched smartphone is priced at Rs 56,999 for the base 8GB+128GB variant, and the 16GB+256GB storage variant comes for Rs 61,999. Premium design: When it comes to design, OnePlus rarely falls short. The OnePlus 11 is available in two finishes – Eternal Green, which has a glossy appearance, and Titan Black, which is matte. It has an attractive appearance and is premium and sleek. The metallic-finished camera bump on the OnePlus 11 blends into the frame, similar to the previous model, but this time the housing is round rather than square. The Hasselblad logo is displayed between the dual-LED flash module and three lenses. On the right edge of the phone, there is OnePlus’ recognisable alert slider and a power button. A volume rocker bar is positioned inside the thin frame on the right side.
Splendid display: The OnePlus 11 offers an excellent viewing experience. A 6.7-inch QHD+ Super Fluid AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz is included. The phone can dynamically change the refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz depending on the app, thanks to the new LTPO 3.0 technology. Compared to the previous generation of LTPO, power efficiency is reportedly given much more attention.
Main camera: It appears that OnePlus is stepping up its camera game with this camera setup that the OnePlus 11 offers. In spite of any adjustments Hasselblad may have made, daylight images produced by the primary shooter are reportedly sharp and detailed. Contrast ratios did seem a little out of balance, and saturation levels were slightly on the high side in the OnePlus 11 review. However, users who prefer their photos to have more colour will probably like the colour scheme that OnePlus has chosen.
Fast charging: A 100W SuperVOOC charger is available for the OnePlus 11’s built-in 5,000mAh battery. Our reviewer mostly used a 5G network and heavily relied on navigation while using the OnePlus 11. With this heavy usage, he managed to get about five hours of screen time; on an average day, this increased to almost seven hours. However, its 100W charging solution inside the box, which charges the phone in just 20 minutes, can make the product more appealing to many users.

IP Rating: With an IP64 rating for water resistance, the OnePlus 11 can only a limited degree withstand damage from a splash of water and dust. Even so, it is lower than the IP68 rating for the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Can throttle under load: The newly-launched OnePlus 11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is currently the fastest chipset on the market for Android devices, so any daily tasks thrown at the device will be easily handled. There is one issue, however, and that is the device’s power efficiency. In comparison, the iQOO 11 performs better in terms of sustained load and thermals than the OnePlus 11. However, the use cases for these would be very specific to serious gamers and not much for the general audience.
Macro shooting: The ultra-wide lens also includes a macro mode, which was missing from last year’s OnePlus 10 Pro. One significant advantage of this is that it allows for extreme close-up shots of the subject without sacrificing resolution. However, the automatic macro mode keeps switching the lenses from primary to ultra-wide when getting closer to the subject. It can be difficult to get a good shot with enough focus.
