As FIFA World Cup 2022 approaches, telecom giant Reliance Jio has come up with a variety of international roaming plans to woo its traveling customers. As Qatar will be hosting the FIFA World Cup this year, Jio has introduced special “Football World Cup” international roaming plans that will enable consumers to enjoy uninterrupted access throughout Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Jio has launched five new international roaming plans in total, which are segregated into two main categories — ‘data, voice and SMS packs’ and ‘data-only packs’. Customers can choose a plan suited based on the number of matches they are going to witness in Qatar. Let us tell you more about the new plans.
New Jio international roaming plans announced
Rs 1,599 Jio roaming plan: The basic plan, in the ‘data, voice and SMS packs’ category, will cost Rs 1,599 and has a validity of 15 days offering 1GB of total data along with 150 minutes of local and home voice calling along with 100 SMS for Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Rs 3,999 Jio roaming plan: This plan offers 3GB of data along with 250 minutes of local as well as home voice calling and 100 SMS. This plan has a validity of 30 days.
Rs 6,799 Jio roaming plan: Lastly, users also have an option to choose the Rs 6,799 plan, which includes 5GB data, 500 minutes of local and home voice calls, and 100 SMS. This plan has a validity of 30 days.
Rs 1,122 Jio data-only roaming plan: The first of the data-only plans would cost Rs 1,122, have a 5-day validity, and include 1GB of data.
Rs 5,122 Jio data-only roaming plan: The second data-only package, which costs Rs 5,122, includes 5GB of data with a 21-day validity period.
