8 TWS earbuds under Rs 2,000 launched in November 2022

As the demand for truly wireless earphones is growing in India, domestic and international brands are leaving no stone unturned to offer affordable TWS earphones. Several Indian brands, including boAt and Noise are giving tough competition to Chinese companies by launching affordable TWS earbuds every other month. According to market research firm Counterpoint, the country’s TWS earbuds shipments doubled Year-on-Year (YoY) in the third quarter of 2022, and Indian brands grew 143 per cent YoY, driven by boAt, Noise, Mivi, Boult Audio, and pTron.

Meanwhile, talking about the features, these affordable earbuds excel at producing deep and resonant bass. They are known for their well-balanced yet powerful sound, which was earlier available only on high-end earbuds. Here is a list of TWS earbuds under Rs 2,000 that were launched in November. Hearmo HearPods Air

Affordable audio devices and accessories brand Hearmo has introduced new gaming earbuds, called HearPods Air, that aim to compete in the segment with superior audio performance and feature-rich characteristics with an affordable price tag. They come with quad-internal microphones that feature Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology to cut off unwanted noise, ensuring your voice is crisp and clear at the receiving end. The earbuds come with 13mm dynamic drivers optimised to deliver rich and deep bass sound. Meanwhile, switching to Gaming Mode activates low latency and real-time audio that helps in enhancing the gaming experience. They also feature IPX4 rating.

The Hearmo HearPods Air were launched in two colour options — Blue and Black — at an introductory price of Rs 999.

BoAt Airdopes 100

boAt, one of the top domestic players in the segment, has came up with a few TWS earbuds in November. One of them are the Airdopes 100 that are said to offer incredible sound, superior calls and never-ending battery life. The company claims that the newly launched earbuds are designed with a compact and highly portable form factor. They feature an advanced Bluetooth v5.2 for uninterrupted audio and faster connectivity. With the BEAST Mode, users can enjoy 50ms ultra-low latency true audio over Bluetooth with zero lag. The 10mm dynamic drivers help produce rich audio with deep bass that takes your music, movies, and gaming to another level.

The earbuds are powered with boAt Signature Sound. The quad microphones with ENx technology give users crystal clear voice quality. Noise Air Buds 2

Another leading player in the audio space is Noise who launched the Air Buds 2 that are designed to give daily hustlers an immersive audio experience without draining their wallets. The new earbuds feature ENC coupled with a quad mic setup ensures crystal-clear communication and entertainment experience by eliminating unwanted surround for better call quality.

Air Buds 2 feature a semi-in-ear design and provides clear highs and deep bass using their 13mm dynamic drivers. The case comes with a USB Type-C charging connector and the earbuds are IPX4 sweat and water-resistant. Noise claims that the Instacharge technology enables 40 hours of total and 4 hours of playtime in just 10 minutes of charging.|

Boult Audio X30 and X50

Boult Audio recently unveiled two new earbuds — X30 and X50 — that come with 40 hours of playtime with lightning-fast charging, 45ms ultra-low latency gaming mode, quad microphone, ENC and a lot more.

The earbuds feature three equalisers that offer HiFi, Rock, and Bass Boost modes and the 10 mm drivers help deliver a superior audio experience for music and calls. The earbuds have built-in upgraded Bluetooth 5.1 technology with SBC and AAC support. And, as per the company, they are ergonomically designed to look stylish and sporty and have feather-soft ear tips that offer good grip and all-day comfort without hurting your ears. pTron Bassbuds Nyx

This month, pTron launched the pTron Bassbuds Nyx with a transparent design charging case, making them look like an affordable alternative to the Nothing ear (1).

The sleek and dual-colour designed earbuds feature 10mm drivers that offer balanced bass, mid and treble performance. An advanced chipset offers 50ms low latency, ensuring an exceptional movie viewing experience. They come with Bluetooth 5.1 for stable connectivity and increased mobility. Homegrown audio brand Wing has unveiled Phantom 200 TWS earbuds that boast a 30-hour battery life with 40ms ultra-low latency or a lag-free audio experience. The company claims that it has been built especially for gamers. The earbuds display premium build quality with a smooth black matte-finished surface and bold green gaming LED highlights, indicating the battery status. They feature 13mm premium graphene drivers for deep, bold bass and sports Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC). Further, the highly sensitive and powerful quad DNS Mics feature noise reduction for superior voice clarity.

The earbuds feature the latest Bluetooth v5.2 chip. The company’s High-speed Bullet Charge technology with a USB-C port also reduces charging time, giving users 20 hours of playback with just a 10-minute charge.

boAt Airdopes Atom 81

The newly launched boAt Airdopes Atom 81 earbuds come with a semi-in-ear design along with 13mm audio drivers. They feature ENx technology that is said to eliminate ambient sound during calls. There are touch controls to control and a voice assistant feature that enables users for hands-free control for voice calls and audio playback. The earbuds offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and there’s an instant wake and pair function to connect the earbuds to a device as soon as the lid is opened.

The earbuds also come with a Beast Mode that cuts down the audio latency to just 50ms, which should help when gaming. For calling, the earbuds come with a quad-mic setup and ENx technology that removes ambient sound during calls.
