Acer has introduced the Chromebook 15, the first with a 15.6-inch display. It will be available in two variants, powered by the fifth-gen Intel Core i3 or the next-gen Intel Celeron CPU’s. In addition, the vendor has updated its smaller Chromebook 13 with a touchscreen display, which is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.
The Acer Chromebook 15 is offered in HD and full-HD display resolution variants, both equipped with Acer ComfyView technology. It comes with up to 4GB of RAM, up to 32GB of solid state drive storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, an HD webcam, and an HDMI port.
The Chromebook 15 will be initially available in the United States in the coming months at a starting price of $249.99. The Acer Chromebook 13 with a touchscreen display will go on sale later this month at a starting price of €329.
