Acer made some big announcements at IFA 2024 on Wednesday, including the launch of its refreshed Swift AI series lineup. This lineup introduces new models like the Acer Swift Go 14 AI, Swift 14 AI, and Swift 16 AI Copilot+ PCs. Each of these laptops is powered by the latest AI processors from top brands like Qualcomm, AMD, and Intel, and they come packed with features designed for productivity users. Acer Swift Go 14 AI: specifications, features
- Design: The new Swift Go 14 AI (SFG-14-01) is quite lightweight at 1.36kg and measures 322.6 x 225.95 (D) x 10/17.95mm (H) with metal A cover.
- Display: The laptop is available in two display types: a 14.5-inch WQXGA IPS display (2560 x 1600p) with 350nits brightness & an FHD+ IPS display (1920 x 1200p) with 300nits brightness.
- Both panels have a 100 percent sRGB colour gamut, 120Hz refresh rate, Acer ComfyView and NVIDIA Advanced-Optimus cable support.
- Processor & graphics: Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 octa-core processor with 34.GHz of maximum clock speed and a 45 TOPS NPU. The Qualcomm Adreno GPU for graphics.
- RAM & storage: The laptop supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD with transfer speeds of 16GB/s.
- OS: The laptop supports both Windows 11 Home and Pro variants.
- Battery: A 75Wh 3-cell battery fuels the machine with a 65W charging adapter. It claims up to 28 hours of video playback time and 20 hours of web browsing.
- Others: The laptop features a Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad, DTX stereo speaker setup with AI noise cancelling, a QHD IR webcam, Bluetooth v5.4, Wi-Fi 7 and more.
Acer Swift 14 AI & 16 AI: specifications, features
- Design: The new Swift 14 AI (SF14-51/SF14-51T) measures 312.4 x 221.2 (D) x 15.9mm (H) and weighs 1.26kg.
- The Swift 16 AI (SF16-51/SF16-51T) measures 356 x 249.42 (D) x 9.9-15.9mm (H) across and weighs around 1.5kg.
- Display: The Swift 14 AI laptop is available in three display types: a 14-inch 3K OLED display, a 14-inch 2K OLED display, and a 14-inch 2K IPS touch display.
- The Swift 16 AI is available in two display variants: a 16-inch 3K OLED display and a 3K IPS touch screen display
- Processor & graphics: The Swift 14 AI comes with up to the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 258V (Series 2) processor paired with Intel Arc integrated graphics.
- The Swift 16 AI incorporates a top-of-the-line Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor paired with Intel Arc graphics.
- RAM & storage: Booth laptops support up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8448 MT/s and up to 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD for storage. The Swift 16 AI instead comes with a 2TB SSD of the same variant.
- Battery: A 65Wh 3-cell battery fuels the Swift 14 AI. It claims up to 29 hours of video playback time and 23 hours of web browsing. The Swift 16 AI features a 75Wh battery instead.
- Ports: The port selection on both machines is the same with two USB Type-C (supporting USB 4, Thunderbolt 4, supporting DisplayPort, USB charging), two USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
- Others: Both laptops feature DTX stereo speaker setup with AI noise cancelling, a QHD IR webcam, backlit keyboards, Bluetooth v5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and more.
Acer Swift 14 AI (AMD): specifications, features
- Design: The new Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T) measures 312.9 (W) x 222.11 (D) x 10/17.9mm (H) and weighs about 1.32kg.
- Display: The Swift 14 AI AMD variant is available in three display types: a 14-inch WQXGA (2880 x 1800p) 1120Hz OLED display with 500nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Display HDR True Black 500-certified.
- A 14-inch WQXGA (2880 x 1800p) 120Hz IPS display with 400nits of peak brightness and 100 percent sRGB colour gamut.
- There’s also a 14-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200p) 120Hz IPS touch display with the same specifications as the display above.
- Processor & graphics: The Swift 14 AI AMD features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor paired with AMD Radeon 880M integrated graphics.
- RAM & storage: The laptop supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM running with up to 2TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD for storage.
- OS: The laptop comes with Windows 11 Home out of the box.
- Battery: The OLED display variant uses a 75Wh battery, while the others use a 65Wh battery, both with fast charging support.
