Airtel revises postpaid plans to offer more data, phases out Rs 399 plan

Leading telecom network Bharati Airtel has been revising its postpaid tariff plans for a while now. Once again, the telecom network has revised its postpaid plans to attract users and discontinued the Rs 399 plan for good. Spotted first by TelecomTalk, the Airtel Rs 1,599 revised postpaid plan now offers unlimited data benefits with rollover, unlimited local and STD call along with 200 ISD minutes, and a 10 percent discount on international roaming packs. Users on the Rs 1,599 postpaid plan get benefits including 100 SMS per day and free subscriptions to popular online streaming services including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and ZEE5. The validity of the tariff is one month and offers three connections with two regular SIMs and data-ad-on.

Airtel Postpaid

Airtel has also revised the Rs 999 plan and adds support for four regular and one data add-on connections. It now offers 150GB high-speed data, unlimited local and STD calling. The subscribers of the Rs 999 Airtel postpaid plan also get 100 SMS per day, subscription to streaming services, and handset protection. Airtel has discontinued the Rs 399 plan, making Rs 499 plan the base tariff for users. It now offers 75GB of 3G/4G data along with rollover function, unlimited local and STD calling, 100 SMS per day and subscription to Netflix for three months, one-year subscription to Amazon Prime, Zee5, and Airtel TV premium. 

Lastly, the 749 Airtel postpaid plan offers three connections, including two regular connections and one data add-on. The plan brings 125GB of high-speed data, unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, as well as 100 SMS per day. Additionally, three months of Netflix and one year of Amazon Prime subscriptions, ZEE5, Airtel TV Premium, and handset protection are bundled with the plan. These new revised tariffs are already available through Airtel website and retail outlets.
